Summary: Outstanding value on a great phone. I had one of these same phones a few years ago, but it was lost. I bought this one and absolutely love it. Seller was great, had it to my door within 72hrs of paying!!
3G Phone. Unlocked with AT&T help and now use overseas with local SIM card
8 December 2012
Summary: Not as easy to use as my old Motorola, but All-in-All, a pretty good phone. I don't need all the fancy stuff, and since I unlocked mine (Call AT&T and give them the IMEA number - they will give you the unlock code so you can do it while you talk...), I can use local SIM cards everywhere I go - Europe, Africa, USA, South America.... I DO miss the voice dial from my Motorola on Blue Tooth, but this one does not do voice dial at all...
Excerpt: And, some of the features are more complicated to use in comparison to the Razor, such as adding contacts to the address book, accessing the camera, and changing settings. It is a really great phone for young teens who love music and taking pictures. I bought this phone for my 11-year-old daughter, and she loves it. Just a note for parents, I had the text messaging and Internet access turned off when I started her contract to save a lot of headaches later.
Excerpt: Nor did it have a microsd memory card, which the music part of this phone is useless without. I didn’t find this very helpful that they left out these key parts of such a great model. 3G speeds were a bit slow for me too. Even though it says “HSDPA” for High-Speed Downlink Packet Access, the internet speeds were not at all high speed. It was much slower than what I expected, and I would have liked if they had made it faster.
Summary: I purchased the Samsung SGH A707 in Red. I like the ease of navigation of features on the phone. I love the flip style phone because of the protection of the screen and the keys. It's a product that is no longer produced and I am glad eBay has provided a way of getting this phone. I am tempted to get another one in blue for my husband because he is constantly using mine.
Excerpt: This phone isn't top of the line, but it definitely gets the job done. It has a great battery life, camera, and gets a decent signal. I'm on the phone most of the day so I needed a really good phone without breaking my budget (it was a free phone from Cingular). I recommend it often to people if they are experiencing trouble with their phones.
Excerpt: For the money spent, the Samsung A707 is a great deal. It comes equipped with a camera, can take video, and also converts into an mp3 player. It has several features but has no full games uploaded. Instead it has a few trial games that only let you play for a few minutes. I've had some problem with dropped calls but I'm not sure if it's the phone or AT&T's service that's the cause. Bottome line, I only paid $20 for it with new service so it was well worth it.
Excerpt: I like this phone because its simple. There are alot of phones that are just way too complicated and hard to use unless you spend a week straight playing with your phone and memorizing the instruction manuel!
Excerpt: I love my Samsung Sync a 707. The large screen and the large colored font is easy for me to see. The bigger keypad is also a breeze to use. It's any easy phone to learn to use. The speaker is also awesome.
