Summary: Outstanding value on a great phone. I had one of these same phones a few years ago, but it was lost. I bought this one and absolutely love it. Seller was great, had it to my door within 72hrs of paying!!
3G Phone. Unlocked with AT&T help and now use overseas with local SIM card
8 December 2012
Summary: Not as easy to use as my old Motorola, but All-in-All, a pretty good phone. I don't need all the fancy stuff, and since I unlocked mine (Call AT&T and give them the IMEA number - they will give you the unlock code so you can do it while you talk...), I can use local SIM cards everywhere I go - Europe, Africa, USA, South America.... I DO miss the voice dial from my Motorola on Blue Tooth, but this one does not do voice dial at all...
Summary: I purchased the Samsung SGH A707 in Red. I like the ease of navigation of features on the phone. I love the flip style phone because of the protection of the screen and the keys. It's a product that is no longer produced and I am glad eBay has provided a way of getting this phone. I am tempted to get another one in blue for my husband because he is constantly using mine.
Excerpt: This phone isn't top of the line, but it definitely gets the job done. It has a great battery life, camera, and gets a decent signal. I'm on the phone most of the day so I needed a really good phone without breaking my budget (it was a free phone from Cingular). I recommend it often to people if they are experiencing trouble with their phones.
Excerpt: For the money spent, the Samsung A707 is a great deal. It comes equipped with a camera, can take video, and also converts into an mp3 player. It has several features but has no full games uploaded. Instead it has a few trial games that only let you play for a few minutes. I've had some problem with dropped calls but I'm not sure if it's the phone or AT&T's service that's the cause. Bottome line, I only paid $20 for it with new service so it was well worth it.
Excerpt: The phone is nice. It is very hard to get any accessories for this phone, everyone is always sold out. I think the carrier should provide as much as possible if the phone is that popular. The menus are great to have but are a bit confusing for people. I have learned it and read on it, but still get confused here and there. Definitely need to have some tech savvyness to use this phone. Overall, I think the sound is great and the picture is nice.
Excerpt: I was a regular Motorola customer previously, but am not a fan of their new phones. The Samsung Sync was recommended to me, and I generally don't have phone problems anymore. I rarely drop calls, have great reception, and don't have battery issues. It's durable, and feels natural to use. I haven't used the MP3 capabilities yet, but I like that I can download ringtones that are real songs.
Excerpt: I have had this phone for a little over a year, and would have to say that it has been dependable. The camera on the phone is really good for the price, and the MP3 player is really nice addition.
Excerpt: I got my RED Samsung Sync off Ebay after I had yet another Ericsson die on me. It was the best $40 I have ever spent on a cell phone! Now while its not perfect it is pretty great. I really like that the charging port is covered when not in use and that it has a memory card slot. I have downloaded several ringtones and graphics and it take very little time. And how cool is the touch sensitive buttons on the outside for MP3 mode?
