The buyer was NOT HONEST! It never holds a charge & dropss call after 1 min
8 May 2014
Summary: I regret buying this phone! The battery has not kept a charge since I got it. I can only talk on it when its plugged in and even then, the call always seems to drop after about one minute of talking (even though it doesn't lose power). You get what you pay for. The buyer was failed to mention the fact that it does not hold a charge and drops calls.
There are better, newer phones available, this model will soon be outdated.

Summary: This is a primative phone compared to today's models, there are some built in glitches from the Mfg. I am sure there are better models out there but don't know which ones. They did use a quality plastic on this model and it is not to large.
Summary: I like the Strive, it is not a smart phone but I can access the internet and it has GPS as well as being easy to text on. I don't spend time surfing the web on my phone so for me this is a good fit. Plus I don't pay for a data plan. If all you need is a phone and text and a few extra features this one is a good choice.
Summary: This is the second Strive I have owned. I had the previous one for 3 years and had no problems. When I needed a new phone, I wanted the same one and AT&T didn't carry it anymore. Luckily, there is Ebay. It is not a smart phone so for the tekkies out there it would not be good. For someone like me that only texts and talks, it's perfect. I can get online well enough to use mapquest and check the weather and that's just the way I like it.
Summary: I bought this phone after my previous one lost its life in the dog's water bowl!! I like that it is a Samsung, my preferred brand, that the full keyboard is hidden under the slider, that a call can be answered without having to open the slider, and that the phone is unlocked so I don't have to get into a contract. I use it without a data plan so my primary interest was in good call sound quality and a comprehensive contacts function, which it does have.
