Pros: The screen is nice and vivid also the slide out keyboard is nice to the touch.Music player is legit and is really nice sounding and the camera is good with the flash led in it.The layout is really good like the menus and contacts etc.
Cons: the battery discharges quickly if your using the 4G on it and also gets kinda hot when continually using it.I wouldn't be with Verizon though because the prices are ridiculously high with a two year contract (because the phone was free with it)
Excerpt: I got this phone in March of this year and I love it. I've had some problems with it though, and I'm on my third replacement. What I love is the smooth operating system, the fact that EVERYTHING is customizable and the full keyboard. What I dislike is that the phone likes to get very hot, very fast. It also likes to shut itself up randomly. I could also live without what I call the "laser light show" display on the startup screen.
Pros: great camera, good call quality, full keyboard, easy to use, customizable
Cons: medium length battery life, laser light show, randomly shuts off
Excerpt: The lies i was told about how "great" this phone was quite believable but take it from me do not purchase. Within the first couple months i had a replacement sent out, and still having problems. I have a iPhone 3G that wasnt used for the whole week and is still on a good 20% that phone is terribly old but works better on the battery and barely has any space on it.
Pros: The screen is beautiful, When it actually works like its supposed to great phone, It was the only thing a 15 year old could afford so thats why it was bought
Cons: Have to restart it several times a day, It will overheat when your not touching it, The fact it dies on the charger is terribleeeeeeeee, WiFi isnt that great for some reason, Apps consistantly run no matter how you try and close them, Restarts itself at the worst times, Freezes a lot
Summary: BUY THIS PHONE! it is, for the lay user, comparable to an iphone (minus SIRI) the only drawback is that the screen is sensitive to pressure and rather expensive to replace. Unlike other awesome smartphones the screen is more expensive to replace because it slides out for the qwerty. so buy the phone, but also buy the insurance!
Pros: sensitive screen. good camera. super fast. great syncing with google (obviously).
Summary: We have 5 of these at work and most of them have issues with the WiFi when grabbing a DHCP IP address. Sometimes the WiFi works and sometimes it connects and you get nothing. Assigning a static IP solves the problem, especially if you only connect to one network. That's really the only con. If you're in an area with good coverage than battery life is more than acceptable. If you're not in a good 4G coverage area you can force it to 3G.
Summary: This is my 1st actual Smartphone. After switching carriers from Sprint to Verizon, I took the oppertunity to upgrade from an LG Rumor Touch to a real smartphone. The LG was good and did everything I expected from a cell phone, with some extra bonuses like GPS navigation and expanded memory. This on the other hand. I still am in amazement of the possibilites.
Pros: Great Speed, Perfect Price (FREE From Radio Shack), Does So much more than I could have thought of
Cons: Inability to set custom ringtones without needing to download extra apps
Summary: There are more cons than pros, but I'll do the pros first and then the cons.
Pros: Super bright screen, Fast 4G (when I can connect to it), Call quality is clear, Good battery life (not the best though).
Cons: Some apps take as much as a second to second and 1/2 to load., Have to restart phone every once in a while to free up more memory, Loses service every so often, 1-2 apps restarts/shuts off phone, Many bloated apps from VZW/Samsung
