Still one of the few cell phones available with a real keyboard
4 June 2014
Summary: This is my second Stratosphere I so I know its limitations. I bought this about five months ago and a little bit less for it than it is currently priced (re-furbished). If you compare it with today's phones, you will hate it. However, if you are looking for a cheap 4G phone with a keyboard and don't need to install alot of apps and games, this is an affordable option.
Summary: Delivered in good shape. Looked band new. Functions/operates OK but has its little querks. Screen goes dark at random; "End call" screen doesn't appear when phone call is finished. I can live with these minor issues.
Summary: Battery life could be better and it struggles with high quality gaming apps, but I knew what this phone would be like from the start. I just needed a replacement until I renew my contract in six months.
Summary: Replacement phone for mom, she had this exact phone model until it fell into the running lawn mower. The phone works fine, just as her original one did, I think it has something to do with this actual model instead of this particular phone, but every so often when we're having a conversation her voice will go in and out and become pixely. Again, I think it's just how all these phones are and nothing wrong with the one we bought from here.
Summary: The phone came in a timely manner and is working well. There is a minor issue with the dial pad when calling out but that is to be expected with a used phone. Other than that, phone came as described and I would buy from this seller again.
Summary: Purchased this unit at a great discount. The seller notified me when she received the order as well as when the unit was shipped. So I give her high marks there. The unit was "new" in the box, but was also from a refurb company. If it was used, I cannot tell by looking at the unit. I took it directly to Verizon who assembled and activated the system. The manual was available from Verizon online.
Excerpt: I got this phone in March of this year and I love it. I've had some problems with it though, and I'm on my third replacement. What I love is the smooth operating system, the fact that EVERYTHING is customizable and the full keyboard. What I dislike is that the phone likes to get very hot, very fast. It also likes to shut itself up randomly. I could also live without what I call the "laser light show" display on the startup screen.
Pros: great camera, good call quality, full keyboard, easy to use, customizable
Cons: medium length battery life, laser light show, randomly shuts off
Excerpt: The lies i was told about how "great" this phone was quite believable but take it from me do not purchase. Within the first couple months i had a replacement sent out, and still having problems. I have a iPhone 3G that wasnt used for the whole week and is still on a good 20% that phone is terribly old but works better on the battery and barely has any space on it.
Pros: The screen is beautiful, When it actually works like its supposed to great phone, It was the only thing a 15 year old could afford so thats why it was bought
Cons: Have to restart it several times a day, It will overheat when your not touching it, The fact it dies on the charger is terribleeeeeeeee, WiFi isnt that great for some reason, Apps consistantly run no matter how you try and close them, Restarts itself at the worst times, Freezes a lot
