Terrible

Anthony, Amazon
13 June 2014
  • Summary: Already have issues and now they told me to send it back to get a replacement, so I have to go without a phone for most likely 2 weeks.

TheStratpsphere

  • Summary: It started off good but by the second week it began to turn it self off. Then it wouldn't hold a charge. When it would turn on then you would loose contacts and pics. It became a real hassle. I ended up having to buy the upgrade and extend the contract.

Not as Good as Advertised

JaVaughn, Amazon
6 March 2014
  • Summary: Product was given to me in bad shape. The screen was slightly off the tracks which made closing and opening the phone a difficult. This later ruined the phone down the line of a month use. The service was decent but the product did not reach my expectations especially when it comes to a phone that opened and closed to use the keyboard not very often.

Very disappointed.

  • Summary: This is my first smartphone and I bought it as a trial before getting what I really want. The battery runs out even when not in use at work. I actually have to leave it plugged in or I'll have no battery remaining when I leave work. My computer does not recognize it, so moving music, pictures and even ringtones requires taking the SD card out and transferring things onto it then replace it.

Too many issues to make a great phone.

haylee_jean, Ebay
30 July 2013
  • Summary: I simply chose this phone over many others because of the keyboard, which is quite hard to find in smartphones. I regret that decision. I am now on my 4th Samsung Stratosphere. Every one I get ends up having the same issues-charging issues, turning on and off by itself, missed call glitches, stuck keys on the keyboard, freezing up frequently, lagging, and sometimes apps won't even run. I do like the camera and how easy the phone is to use.

Obvious Refurb

Michael L. Siegner, Amazon
1 November 2012
  • Summary: Item was sold as new, but is a refurb...No issues, but the product was sold as new. I love the phone, as it was a replacement for one I broke. These phones are very fragile ( this is my fourth of this model) but the keyboard just cant be passed up.

"Some good, some bad, overall poor experience."

zygatus21, CNET
7 May 2012
  • Pros: slide out keyboard. battery saving features. does not require proprietary charger, uses micro usb.
  • Cons: bulky. poor voice dialing feature, "memory fault" errors, or misdialed often. screen timeout seemed always to be 10 seconds regardless of the setting.

"Fancy phone but Fragile. Wont stand up to normal usage"

jgiles1, CNET
24 April 2012
  • Pros: Fancy, does a lot, love the keyboard. Great display.
  • Cons: Broke within 4 months, they don't honor warranty say it is user fault. My phones ALWAYS exceed contracts by YEARS. $300 if not under insurance, and $100 if under insurance. They don't fix, just replace.
