Summary: This is the worst phone I've ever had...I can't wait until I can upgrade...This phone has been replaced by Verizon 5 times for the same problem...The last time a cust serv tech phoned samsung, and they said it is a software problem in some phones. When I can upgrade to a different phone, I'm smashing this one with a hammer!!
Summary: I have this phone from Verizon for almost a year, Technically twice. I'm on my first replacement phone, and not even year has gone by. Dont get me wrong the performance is great and the camera and call and design but the sceens display is my problem. My first one started screwing up with sim's card then screen went black a few weeks later about six months of having the phone. now with the replacement not even a few months later, Have another problem.
Excerpt: To put it in plain language...I WANT MY LG ALLEY BACK. This piece of garbage can't stay connected to the internet for more than 2 minutes. This is the second stratosphere I've had in less than 2wks. The original phone crapped out within 2 days...had to replace it. Now I either can't get connected or can't stay connected to the internet. There is no way in H _ L L I'd pay the $300 they say the piece of crap is worth....RIGHT!! I know why it's called stratosphere.
Pros: one heck of a camera
Cons: everything it's supposed to do...it can't, it's soooo sllow when working on the internet or trying to log on,or stay logged on.
Summary: HATE.THIS.PHONE.Most apps require "force close" on a regular basis. I had one for 3 months that "burned out", and it was clear when I called Verizon that the tech reps had been dealing with this issue frequently. They sent me another with no questions asked -- and they seemed to have plenty of "refurbished" phones for one that had been introduced less than 6 months earlier.
Pros: The screen has a nice appearance, period. Motorola Droids may not be as pretty, but they're far superior in every other way.
Cons: The 4G network is rarely available and it often has no signal, drops calls and reduces the signal to 1X. There's no battery life -- literally runs out in 2 hours on a regular basis even without use.
Summary: I had one replaced, and will have this one replaced, save your money. Buy a different phone.
Pros: screen, internet, email
Cons: bad phone reception, choppy voice, lost calls, terrible transition from web to phone call.Inept as a phone., screen time very short, you can set it to 10 minutes, and it goes darg after a couple of second.
