Another touch screen phone that stops working.
4 December 2012
Summary: This phone sucks, after 3 days all the touch screen buttons stopped working on me. I can't answer phone calls. The only way I can call is if I hold the button that will let you speak the persons name. Basically I wasted 20 bucks. I have ordered another today. This one will make a great golf ball.
Excerpt: Besides the fact that it’s utterly a piece of garbage, I must admit the Boost Mobile Samsung Seek has earned its keep. It looks so hi-tech, so fun, so hip and so useful peeking out at customers from that glossy packaging. It reminds me a little of the old T-Mobile Sidekick that were so cool to own back in the day. Like most customers, I let this phone’s modern good looks and reasonable price tag entice me into buying it. I won’t make that mistake twice.
Pros: it does the basic functions: text, calling, email and pictures but thats it
Cons: oh boy, where do i start? not flash supported so any video is out! no playlists on the music player, it has the option but reboots the phone when you try to save a playlist. camera sucksa, no zoom, no flash, no video, no real options. almost no software
Summary: I bought this phone to get back to using an android phone. Boy was THAT a mistake. I should have realized when it took over two and a half hours (and 6 reps at Sprint) to get the stupid thing connected to the network. Every day that's passed the phone has gotten worse and worse. It is currently 4:19pm. I hit the power button on my phone at 3:57pm and it's still at the splash screen trying to turn on.
Summary: This phone is not worth the money. It has poor transmission/reception quality, limited access to the Internet, and does not even let you use software like Pandora. Samsung has made much better phones than this. Avoid it at all cost, otherwise you will be very disappointed!
