Summary: One of the only Virgin Mobile Phones that can still be used for both Paylo and Beyond Talk Plans maximizing your plan flexibility. Just a cool, vintage Virgin Mobile phone that gets me all misty eyed thinking about the good 'ole days when phones were merely for talk and text. You can install Opera Mini and Google Maps thus increasing the usability of the phone like if you need directions or need to access your email or to look up something on the internet.
Excerpt: So I received this phone about a week ago and all I can say I got what I expected. its not bad. When i first unwrapped the phone I noticed the shiny glossy of it. It also has a hug 2.3 inch screen. Before I had the crappy virgin mobile jax. Now I'm not ashamed to take this phone out. ANother good this is the battery life.
Virgin Mobile slash is a good phone for an infrequent user

Excerpt: I recently bought the Slash to replace my old Virgin Mobile phone. I like Virgin Mobile because it's a pay as you go service (for the most part, I think they have monthly packages too) and I'm not a big phone user. I like the Slash. It looks cool, the slider function is nice, it's just the right size and weight, and it has a camera. You can download some cool games if you want and my kids like to play them. You can also download ringtones of popular songs.
Excerpt: Most prepaid phones are boring and do not offer much other than use of a cell phone. Virgin mobile offers several different phones for their prepaid service. I just recently purchased the Samsung Slash and I love it. It has a camera and is capable of browsing the web, downloading ringtones and graphics and text messaging at an affordable rate. 2 thumbs up!
Excerpt: First of all, I am a Virgin Mobile customer for the forseeable future. I get 200 text messages a month (talk extra) for $4.99, and that's the best price I've found anywhere. I don't like to talk anyway, and I have a phone for emergency use. So when I decided to get a camera phone, the Slash was the best option. It's a good, basic, no-frills camera phone.
Summary: I like this phone. It does what I need it to do and is not complicated. It took me a little longer tahn expected to switch the sevice from my old phone, which had something to do with this phone, but I was able to do it over the phone in less than an hour.I am not sure what else to say about this phone. i really like the flip feature on it, you really don't see that much any more.
Pros: I really loved all it offered, so I rated it high, but I wasn't extremely tough-like on it and the front keypad area fell off, with SIMPLE USE. I really loved it, so I rated it high, but it wasn't tough and the front keypad fell off.

Summary: I recently bought the Samsung Slash. It's a really awesome looking phone and takes great pictures. It's easy to use. I can't really say anything bad about it except for the ringtones and the battery life of the phone. I just wish there were more ringtones to choose from and a better variety. The battery life is too short. Im used to having to charge my phone every 2 to 3 days, depending on how often I used it (I had a Nokia "Shorty").
