Excerpt: This phone was pretty bad to be honest. Web surfing on phones was mediocre at best back then, but even on this, it was just bad. It would constantly lose its data connection and give me trouble sending and receiving texts.
Summary: I bought this to replace one that managed to get wet and fried. This phone is a nice simple phone--and the numbers light up which is important to me--I can see to dial in any light. It has voice dial and many features that I never use. I like flip open to answer.
Summary: I have been using this phone for over 2 years and just bought this replacement for my old one that died. Is slim and fits in your pocket easily. Drawback: if you ever need a new battery, don't let anyone sell you one that has to come from Hong Kong. It takes 3 weeks and they don't tell you it will take that long. Buy a replacement phone from eBay instead. Make a backup of all your phone numbers, because if it dies like mine did, you will lose all your numbers.
Summary: Worked excellent - as expected - for calls & text. No frills or thrills - really simple. Needed a Sprint flip phone as a back up and this one delivered. Even after so many years since it came out - this used Samsung A660 stills works, sturdy and reliable.
Summary: If you would like to see your cell phone as a phone, not a computer, this one is a best. I have them over years now and just change battery when it's going bad, or bought another one, newest, and change the body, when the flip broke down. No complains about this particular model.
Summary: It's a nice phone and does what it promises well. I am having trouble with the voice activation feature though, but other than that, for someone just looking to call or text, it's a good phone.
