Excerpt: this is a so-so for a replacement cell phone for people who do not text that much, Personally I would go for a Apple iPhone 4 regardless of the antenna design issue. its all just a publicity stunt from Apple to make money out of it.
Excerpt: This is a good phone to have if you do some of the little things that a smartphones have but does not have all of the features of a typical smartphone. There are screensavers on the phone that cannot be altered. this is frustrating because some of them are kind of girly and if a man has this phone it makes it frustrating ebcause you cannot adjust which ones show up. You cannot play many good games on this phone because of the touchscreen.
Excerpt: Shame on AT&T! This phone was sold to me as an alternative to the pricey iPhone. The run down: it is an all touch phone, can do text, e-mail and internet. The picture quality is pretty good for a cell phone. However, as an iPod Touch user (and lover!) I know just how fun it is to be able to download your fave app and play to your hearts content....the Samsung Solstice, you can't have any apps!
Excerpt: The Samsung solstice is one of the few successful phones at&t has out. the features are solid for the most part. the touch screen is very responsive and accurate. The interface is organized and easy to remember. The camera is a 2.0 mega pixel and has a video recorder which works surprisingly well. Web browsing is somewhat smooth and has a very comfortable feel to it.
Excerpt: I have had this phone for almost 2 years now and I can not wait until I can get a new one. This phone is very average nothing special about it at all. The battery life is one of the few things that is good about this phone. The touch screen is not responsive at all and can not be calibrated to a very good responsiveness. The widgets in theory are a good idea but the unability to customize them is a drawback.
Excerpt: I currently have two samsung solstices at home, one my dad uses and one brand new. We got them around May of 2010 when we were renewing our contract. The samsung solstice is probably not a camera for my dad that is not so tech savvy, but he manages well with it. The touch screen is really sensitive, my dad uses a case which is connected on his belt and sometimes the screen is so sensitive it will easily call people without him knowing, probably a not so good thing.
The Solstice isn't the best phone, but good for it's price

Excerpt: Well, I've had this phone for months now and I must say it's been one of my favorites so far. The phone is pretty easy to use and simple enough to navigate through and has some nice features to it, such as the wiggetts(Or whatever they are called)/tools you can put on your background that make excellent shortcuts, like the ones you can have on a computer's desktop.
Excerpt: This phone worked really good at first and now it is beginning to cut off on its own. I'm missing calls from not realizing my phone just randomly cut itself off. It is a really good phone if you need something inexpensive that will work. Has a really great camera with flash. The camera also has a bunch of options to keep you up to date on your pictures. It also has good video and a lot of additional storage space with the card.
Excerpt: Honestly, if I could go back and choose another phone, I would. But, I can't because I am stuck in a two year contract with this phone unless I want to pay $300 for a different one. The phone itself is small, which I thought was cute and it would be fun to have a touch screen phone. Well after a few weeks it is really hard to text on it because it seems to register the wrong buttons when I try to type.
VALUE FOR MONEY IS FAIR / AWESOME PRODUCT BUT INCOMPLETE
