10 January 2011
Excerpt: The Samsung Solstice 2 brings a nice design revamp from the original Solstice, but the same 2-megapixel camera and 3-inch touchscreen display. Can it compete in the featurephone market? Sydney does a full review.
Summary: Samsung Solstice 2 is a Smartphone with new and quick messaging handset with a 3.0” touchscreen. The Samsung Solstice 2 Smartphone features Samsung’s unique Touch Wiz 2.0 user interface which offers one-touch access to frequently used mobile applications and social networks.
Cons: Plenty of great options, Terrific controls, Flimsy phone, No headphone jack
Conclusion: So what do we have with the Samsung Solstice II that separates it from its predecessor? Well, there isn't much in terms of specs as it qualifies itself as yet another decent, but not quite spectacular, basic touchscreen offering from Samsung's camp.
Pros: Responsive capacitive touchscreen, Good calling quality
Cons: Same looking design, Below average looking photos
