Summary: After looking for a new phone for several months, I finally found one within a decent price range(50 & under) that meets all my needs. This phone was declared the slimmest phone in 2006. It has speakerphone, PC connectivity, mp3 player and all the other features of a decent modern phone. Navigation through the menus isn't always easy, specifically with texting, but overall I'm extremely pleased with this phone. It does have some downsides.
Summary: This ultra slim phone is very function and useable. I was surprise by the sound quality of the calls and the speaker quality when playing music. Samsung has packed quite a few good features in this phone despite is small size. The 2MP camera is okay, but could use a flash and be a little better quality. If you need something small, pocket size then do not hesitate buying this phone.
Summary: sounds better than a lot of phones I've used. Its an awesome phone. Really cool and nifty to use. What I don't like. Its only Vibrate or Silent or Ring, no combination of vibe & ring, or 'vibe then ring' like on Motorola phones. Its a feature I need because I work in loud places and I might not be able to feel the vibe or hear the ring. No personalized message tones so text messages sound the same no matter what. You can only use the 10 preset sounds for text messages.
Summary: Now this is how you make an ultra-thin phone! I bought this phone after the screen on my Motorola RAZR died and I couldn't get it replaced under warranty. This is by far the thinnest phone I have ever seen. Not just that, it is one of the thinnest devices I have ever used, period. Reading the specs simply cannot prepare you for how shockingly thin this phone is the first time you hold it in your hands, and the RAZR is already a thin phone.
Summary: This phone is so thin sometimes I don't even notice it existing in my pocket! Now that sounds cool doesn't it, however, the chances of it slipping out of your pocket are much greater as well, it's fallen out of mine once on to the floor, still workin fine, no problems, no scratches. Thia happened within the first week of me purchasing the phone, so ya! Compared to my previous phone; Motorola V620, this phone is a 100 times faster.
