Summary: I'm still learning how to use this phone. I was looking for a phone that had buttons that I could feel, larger enough to see and was a slider phone. Of course being red was a desire and made the purchase even better. The camera is great and the dialing is easy.
Excerpt: I've had this phone for 1 year after I lost it.It's a great phone with a 3.2 mp camera, it would be a amazing phone but it's pritty slow and when you take a picture it takes ages to take one, it should have a secondery cam at the front for video calling and have 3g.
Pros: Nice design Slim Good media player Easy to use
Excerpt: if you are looking for a durable phone this is not it because i have had mine for 8 months now and after about 2 i thought it was going to fall apart as i could slide a credit card between the two layers. the phone also makes many phone calls on its own once you place it in your pocket
Pros: seperate rings for allerts, size, web browser, large display
Cons: not durable, scratches really easy, calls on its own
Excerpt: The U600 is an overall good phone. When you take it out of the box, don't remove the front plastic protector until you pruchase something durable, search on ebay for screen protectors for it. It is worth the money.
Wouldn't recommend as it is difficult to handle at times.

Excerpt: This was my first phone and it was great! very easy to use and was very easy to get used to. The touch buttons, however did make it a little hard as I found if I sat on it by accident when unlocked I would call people or turn it off.
OK phone considering the price, but the camera and battery is a true letdown.

Excerpt: All in all, I'm pretty satisfied with the phone except low battery and slow camera. It was a spontaneous buy for me when the phone was new and I didn't read up about the low battery issue, if I knew it beforehand I probably would've looked more into other phones.
Excerpt: I had this phone for my previous upgrade on Orange. Prior to having the Samsung U600 I had always like Samsung phones- they just seemed to be more stylish than chunkier Nokia or LG phones. My phone had a purple casing, differing from the profiled picture but still had all the same functionalities.
Run before you get caught up with a phone that blinds you to its problems

Excerpt: When I first opened this phone out of the box, I was impressed. At the time it was the slimmest slide opening phone which money could buy, at a miniscule 16mm. It was a sleek, neat design, with swanky touchscreen buttons. And now - several years after getting this phone, it's still going.
Excerpt: I loved this phone when I first got it, however after owning it for a few months some things began to irritate me. You arent allowed to put an mp3 as your message ringtone. The touch buttons were very temperamental and sometimes just wouldn't work.
