Summary: I bought this phone from a company in China because I had one before and it lasted me three years without trouble. Also because I like slide phones. However, it took eight weeks for it to arrive and after only one week it gave me so many problems it was unbelievable.
Excerpt: My husband received the dark blue (almost black) version of this phone for his birthday in 2008. He seemed to like it, and I needed a new phone, so the week after I bought the hot pink version. Both cost £89.99 from a phone shop on pay-as-you-go. Mine was with Virgin, hubby's was with Orange.
Great as a fashion accessory but the functions are poor.

Excerpt: The bit I liked best about this phone is the sleek design. It was so slim that you could hardly feel it in your pocket and the glossy finish was a nice touch too. It was available in purple which swayed my decision away from other brands.
Summary: I have had this phone since january 08 and the function keys are not working !! the number pad is fine, i just cannot look at my contact list, text anyone or ring anyone. I wouldnt recommend this phone as the soft function keys are a nightmare!
Summary: I don't usually write reviews but the Samsung U600 has driven me to it. Although the phone is very slim, pretty, good screen etc, it has the user interface from hell. It's so bad that the phone is almost unusable. 1.
Summary: Seriously now.. Out of all the things I buy on amazon, I think I have only written 1 or 2 reviews but because this phone is so bad, I'm writing another. I needed a new phone as I had lost my trusty motorola V600 which I had for 5-6 years so went into the T mobile store to buy this one.
Summary: I bought this phone as it had a reasonable spec' (on paper), it looked good and was reasonably priced compared with SonyEricssons and Nokia of similar spec' Pros Looks good Nice looking menus Nice slide action Cons Camera is poor Buttons not intuitive Menus/interface not intuitive Touch sensitive...
Summary: The phone is poor quality and not what one would expect from Samsung, battery will last for 3 days even if you don’t use it, Samsung say 270 hours standby, talk time is about 40 minutes from a charge, Samsung say 4 hours, and very flimsy build.
Summary: I must be a luddite. I like mechanical keys that respond when I press them, not a phone that rings your bank on a premium number if you just breath on it. When using the U600 you feel like you're trying to seduce a fickle lover who reacts unexpectedly at every prompt.
