Phone screen blank (not working)

babdu, Amazon
16 November 2013
  • Summary: The screen went blank after working well for about a month. Tried powering on and off and removal of the battery to fix; nothing worked. Unknown if the cell phone was refurbished. Got a refund back.

Phone Issues / Problems

PRM253, Amazon

  • Summary: PHONE ISSUES Okay here you go: The most detailed critical review of the Samsung Gravity T t669 phone on the internet. I will write it with bullet points so you don't feel as if you're reading a book, but secretly you will indeed get a short book. -Since a lot of the menus and buttons to use this phone are on the touch screen the whole touch screen goes bananas if I spill one tiny droplet of water on it. I mean, sink spray, rain, pocket sweat, you name it.

Not great

Elli1313, Samsung
5 November 2012
  • Summary: I've had this phone for a little over a year. Its liveable with, but not as a smart phone. I pretty much only used it for talking and texting. The internet browser was there, but not that useable. I always had issues with the bluetooth and the voice recognition software for handsfree dialing. Texting was also an issue, any group texts that got sent were turned into picture messages and got very hard to read. I occasionally had to reboot because of the phone freezing up.
  • Pros: Inexpensive
  • Cons: Did not meet expectations

Fell apart (literally) within 2 months. Would not recommend.

  • Summary: I purchased this product because of the great price. I've always owned Samsung cell phones, so had no worries in it's quality when purchasing it. It really does have some great features and is very easy to use. Great introductory phone to anyone being introduced to having the internet at your fingertips.

Sluggish, Not Very Polished Interface

Scott from Detroit, Amazon
5 September 2012
  • Summary: This phone is a turd. Pros: - Battery life - Speaker phone works alright Cons: - Very counter-intuitive UI - Unable to switch to an incoming call, it tells you about the call, but gives you no options to switch - If you have a missed call there's no easy way to dismiss the message, you have to go into the call log, then switch to missed calls, then it will make the message go away - If you receive a new text message and click on VIEW MESSAGE it takes you to the last...

Basic phone

beachkate, Samsung
12 July 2012
  • Summary: If you're looking for a touchscreen phone, DO NOT BUY THIS ONE. The touchscreen on this phone is the cheap kind. It's pressure sensitive (not heat sensitive like an iPhone is), which means you have to be extremely perfect when touching the screen or it will do something completely different from what you want, or it won't do anything at all. If you're a girl with long fingernails, this phone will be a bit easier to operate rather than with your fingertips.
  • Pros: call quality
  • Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Did not meet expectations, expensive for quality, no features, chunky, slow, slide-out keyboard
