Excerpt: I've had this phone for 5, count them 5 years!! I have been out of contract for 3, but didn't feel the need to renew, since I LOVE my phone. The only reason I'm getting rid of it, is that I am leaving T-mobile, and going to Sprint. Hello EVO!
Samsung t639- does not load pics straight to phone
Hello, Phone Arena
2 September 2009
Excerpt: just recieved the phone and it is going back to t-mobile for an exchange. I did not know that the pics you take with it do not go straight to the phone but on the net ( t-zones ) first and then are downloaded to the phone. Who needs that??
Pros: nice feel and handeling
Cons: pics are not loaded directly to the phone - they first go on the world wide web for anyone to hack into
Excerpt: i had this phone for just over a year and it the texting ability is AWFUL. the phone is good for about a year. and i was extremely easy on the phone. if your planning to get this phone. make sure you dont have texting because this phone is just down right ****
Pros: not a big phone., 4 changeable face plates., pretty decent camera.
Cons: texting ability., when calling it is hard for the person on the other end to hear you., browser is sometimes a big hassle
Excerpt: i have had 3 of these phones in 4 months (good thing for warranty) it freezes up and shuts itself off does the auto update of time 20 + times a day wont send messages and i text ALOT will never another one
Excerpt: I've tried really hard to like this phone in the three weeks that i've had it. No matter how I can spin it, this was a really disappointing phone, even for midrange standards. Pros: - good call quality - large colorful screen, easy to see - slightly above average reception, which is good considering...
Excerpt: phone built in memory is only 30.00 mb and to apply ring tone to callers and images, it does not read off the micro sd card but transfters it to the built in memory hence taking up space and really limiting you. Just a average phone
Pros: Camera, weight
Cons: cant access caller id ring tones, off the micro sd card
Excerpt: The only good thing I have to say about this phone is that, yes, it is easy to use. You don't have to take out a PhD to use it, like alot of the new phones that are out now. The sound quality is very poor. My father has a hearing aid on at all times, and he can barely hear out of this phone.
Excerpt: The phone is nice, but have to admit the older cheaper one I had was better. I do not like how the phone book is organized. I can't figure out how to shut off the beeps when you are using the menu. The preselected ringers are pretty lame. My bluetooth headset is great and the sound quality is fab.
