Summary: My experience has been pretty much the same as others that have reviewed this phone. The keyboard is nice and the battery life is very good for a feature phone, but the reception is horrible. This phone struggles to get reception in many places my previous t-mobile phone got full reception. I am planning on replacing this phone soon.
Summary: thanks the opportunity giving to me to comment on the samsungGalaxy T459.The turns on ok,but for three days have not had not service so is not working. I would be glad if you can contact me so we find a solution to this problem, thanks. Hope to hear from you.
Summary: I got the Samsung Gravity Touch because it was supposed to be one of the best texting phones according to some articles I read online. I thought a combination of a full keyboard and a touch screen sounded good. It reality, its controls are very clumsy. Scrolling on the touch screen is difficult to do. It's easier to use the buttons to scroll up or down. The menu and how to get around on the phone is also not very user-friendly.
Summary: Everything about this phone is excellent, except for the touchscreen. It does not always register when or what you touch. It will occasionally have the touch way off of where you actually touched. The slide out qwerty keyboard is great. The mobile web is fast. Call clarity is great. The speaker phone is really nice to talk on. I have had a couple complaints that people can't hear me, but it could have been where I was holding the phone at.
Pros: I like the keyboard set up and I like the design of the phone. Good size and decent camera.
Cons: The battery dies so quickly. All I do is text & it will be on critical battery after a few hours. Also the screen will freeze when I'm texting and go from the front screen to the keyboard. It still lets me text an it unfreezes after I send the text.
Cons: of course after my 1 yr warranty, as ive heard with a couple other ppl, my my calls get dropped. 5 seconds into the call i loose service, no matter where i am. the phone also starts to randomly shut off.
