Excerpt: I've had my gravity for approximately a year now and it looks like it has another one in it. my battery life was really good despite what ive heard about it. for the price, this is a very good deal. it served me well until i saw the gravity touch lol but its good and affordable. it had good calling (u hear really well) the message box size is farely ok n perfect for texting. yes its a bit bulky but very sturdy.
Excerpt: this phone is nice and cute and great for texting but im on my 2nd one and having the same problems. my screen freezes when i slide it and the QWERTY key board will type a letter 2 or 3 times. bad picture quality and it holds little amount of songs on music player. they also dont sell like any accessories for it at the Tmobile store.
Excerpt: ok well i love this phones keyboard its very accessible and easy to type on even with acrilics haha but i am on my third one its very good for the price but if you want a long lasting phone then this is NOT the phone for you!! The battery life sucks it doesnt even last a whole day!!
Excerpt: i traded my sidekick for this phone and im not too happy with it. the texting is bad on the keyboard, not as easy as the sidekick at all. but the phone did vibrate when i got a message unlike the sidekick. all of my phones from t mobile have sucked and customer service didnt help too much. i wouldnt reccomend this phone. its not really worth it in the long run. go for like verizon or at&t's phones.
Summary: So, the phone is good. I bought it for my sister, so I do not know how well it works, but I did get to test it and its simple. My previous phone was a Samsung and I loved it, but I compare it to the Gravity and my previous phone was better. Its still nice and simple for my 13yr old sister. Pros-Simple to use and serves its purpose(messaging). Cons-Lacks applications, too simple if you are into phone technology.
Summary: I brought this phone simply as a temporary phone. It was a inexpensive phone that has a lovely qwerty keyboard for those who find text messaging, IM, and email as the core of their communication with the world. The Micro SD requires a specific type of card (one that is standardized, IE Sandisk 2-4GB "Wake up your phone" cards. The various sounds, like when you slide open the keyboard, are customizable, but only with default sounds.
Excerpt: I think it's really a cute phone, but I keep having issues with the screen! The first time I got the phone, the screen cracked internally. Once I sent that in and they replaced it with a new one, (which cost $40) it worked fine for a couple of weeks and now the screen will split down the middle, showing one side with the regular text and stuff and the other side is fuzzy.
Excerpt: So far not impressed with the phone or the customer service at Samsung...... Bought this phone less than 3 months ago and it is in for repair for the second time for the same problem. Open the slider and the phone powers off and it often does the same thing randomly, Samsung tried to tell me this is not a common problem but after reading some reviews on this website I see that it is more of a problem than they let on. Neither Samsung, nor Rogers (our service provider)...
Excerpt: this phone is cool. i like the qwerty keyboard on it i doesnt take that clear on pic but u can custommize them. the biggest con about this phone is the battery life i take my charger everwhere i go now cause my battery runs out quick. but i do reccomend this phone it is cool thought.
Excerpt: Okay, I'm usually the one who gets the simpliest flip phone because I like strait forward and easy. This time, the hubby decided I should get the "nicer" phone, so I opted for the Gravity because I text....a lot, although I've never used a qwerty board on a phone, this one gives me the option of texting either way. A plus for me. Some things I started noticing right away, like the life of the battery - its pretty short.
