Excerpt: My sister got this phone about a year and a half ago. She really liked it at first...it was great for talking and for texting a little bit. She didn't have unlimited texting though, until recently. When she got unlimited texting and started texting a lot, the phone started sticking a lot more. The buttons sometimes don't work anymore and she gets really frusterated when the whole phone shuts down when she, in her own words, "texts too fast".
A good budget phone, but save up money, to save yourself some grief.

Summary: If you're on a budget, and this is all you can afford right now, it will be good for you, but save up, because this wont last you that long. I went through two before I upgraded, because, the screen began doing weird things, and I got error messages, but still, that was after 6 months. *Good basic phone for texting/calls, and some extra features.
Summary: I rec'd the T139 as a gift. Not a bad unit in general. However, it failed at 11 months, locked up screen while charging overnight. Display showed 'FFFFFFF' in RED and there was nothing you could do to unlock. Samsung sent me a replacement with an abbreviated warrenty. This failed also, with the exact same sympton 'FFFFFFF'. They sent me a replacement but wanted to charge me a $10 'replacement' fee.
A good basic phone with great battery life and volume settings

Summary: A good basic phone, with better-than-average volume settings and easy to understand layout. The buttons are small and can stick sometimes, and the "keyboard" layout takes some getting used to, as none of the keys conform to a standard phone or keyboard layout. Overall a good phone for those who want something simple to call on and do occasional texts.
Summary: this phone has a nice style but the key pad is not like the average phone and it isnt qwerty - instead the keypad is like a blackberry and unless you know how to already text on them it is a slow process and hard to learn - not convenient at all
Summary: I bought this phone after the one I using broke, and before I was up for contract renewal. It had a nice sized screen, and the display and looks of the phone were great. My only real complaint is that the keyboard wasn't at all good. I like the half qwerty part of it, but the keys were sometimes hard to press, and all of a sudden letters would be appearing twice, or spaces weren't being inserted.
Summary: For not being a full keyboard it works pretty well but it can be very frustrating with the t9 it has. other than that it's a very easy phone to figure out, and the colors of it are really cute.
Summary: I got this phone for 4 bucks from Tmobile when they ran the special that comes with a free $[...] gift card. $[...] total). Obviously I have no complaints about the price. It's an ok phone. Nice size buttons and they are raised so you don't have to use your finger nail to punch in a number. Fairly decent display but only 3 or 4 wallpapers which are not so hot. Sound could be better but I'm still testing. Sound is the most important thing to me.
Summary: The phone itself is good, but the texting is horrible. My husband and I both have the same phone and both hate teh texting on it. The letters switch over, they don't put out the correct letter each time, etc. We will def. be getting new phones THE DAY our contract is done.
