Nice phone.

HuskerFam, Viewpoints
9 September 2012
  • Excerpt: My sister got this phone about a year and a half ago.  She really liked it at first...it was great for talking and for texting a little bit.  She didn't have unlimited texting though, until recently.  When she got unlimited texting and started texting a lot, the phone started sticking a lot more.  The buttons sometimes don't work anymore and she gets really frusterated when the whole phone shuts down when she, in her own words, "texts too fast".

A good budget phone, but save up money, to save yourself some grief.

Timothy Gorka "youngelvisfan0909", Amazon

  • Summary: If you're on a budget, and this is all you can afford right now, it will be good for you, but save up, because this wont last you that long. I went through two before I upgraded, because, the screen began doing weird things, and I got error messages, but still, that was after 6 months. *Good basic phone for texting/calls, and some extra features.

Middle of the Road Phone - 'Shifty' Support

Oldman1, Amazon
29 March 2012
  • Summary: I rec'd the T139 as a gift. Not a bad unit in general. However, it failed at 11 months, locked up screen while charging overnight. Display showed 'FFFFFFF' in RED and there was nothing you could do to unlock. Samsung sent me a replacement with an abbreviated warrenty. This failed also, with the exact same sympton 'FFFFFFF'. They sent me a replacement but wanted to charge me a $10 'replacement' fee.

Texting is Horrible!

Mom of 2, Amazon
2 May 2010
  • Summary: The phone itself is good, but the texting is horrible. My husband and I both have the same phone and both hate teh texting on it. The letters switch over, they don't put out the correct letter each time, etc. We will def. be getting new phones THE DAY our contract is done.

Unacceptable Bluetooth Performance

Andrei, Amazon
9 December 2009
  • Summary: Samsung-t349 is a nice-looking phone. The product description and customer reviews have already covered many important topics, therefore I will focus on a few issues that I had no chance to learn about before I purchased the phone. It is very important for me to be able to connect a cell phone to a GPS device in my car via Bluetooth to talk hands free. My old cell phone (a cheap Motorola phone) was perfect in this respect.

Okay Samsung phone

N. Parmelee "Pogo Addiction", Amazon
3 July 2009
  • Summary: This is a great phone for small hands and basic phone use. The keys are really small and I might get a better phone to trade this for. I didnt think this phone was okay for me. I like the sound and the quality of music, and basic of the how much does it have. I like to give it back and make into a bigger phone so I can type more.

Ok...

Adrienne Holmes, Amazon
3 July 2009
  • Summary: I bought this phone after the one I using broke, and before I was up for contract renewal. It had a nice sized screen, and the display and looks of the phone were great. My only real complaint is that the keyboard wasn't at all good. I like the half qwerty part of it, but the keys were sometimes hard to press, and all of a sudden letters would be appearing twice, or spaces weren't being inserted.

OK

K. T. Milliken "KTM", Amazon
3 July 2009
  • Summary: Very good sound quality. Nice external sound controls. Cool looking phone. Takes a lot of time to get used to the letters. They are not the traditional, but set up like a keyboard. Must look at phone to hit select button--too small for casual use. Super battery life! Must purchase USB cable and sd card. Phone came with a $50 rebate. But must purchase unlimited texting at $15/month for two months. Thus the net rebate is only $20.

Just ok but a major drawback. No data transfer

intanet, Amazon
3 July 2009
  • Summary: I got this phone for 4 bucks from Tmobile when they ran the special that comes with a free $[...] gift card. $[...] total). Obviously I have no complaints about the price. It's an ok phone. Nice size buttons and they are raised so you don't have to use your finger nail to punch in a number. Fairly decent display but only 3 or 4 wallpapers which are not so hot. Sound could be better but I'm still testing. Sound is the most important thing to me.
