Samsung SGH-T349 (T-Mobile)

23 July 2009
  • Summary: The Samsung SGH-T349 is a simple, good messaging phone from T-Mobile--as long as you're willing to use a partial QWERTY instead of a full keyboard.
  • Pros: The Samsung SGH-T349 is slim and lightweight with a dedicated messaging key and a nice partial QWERTY keyboard. Call quality is good as well.
  • Cons: The Samsung SGH-T349 doesn't have a great multimedia experience. Some people might not like the partial QWERTY keyboard.

Samsung SGH-T349 Review

Phone Arena

  • Conclusion: There are many things that the Samsung SGH-T349 has going on for it. For starters the design is simple and when T9 predictive text is used, users can probably out type someone with a full QWERTY. The design is pretty solid while the software is not complicated. The good depth of messaging features also plays to the phone's strengths; seeing that it was built for that purpose.
  • Pros: Well sized Half QWERTY, Long battery life, Great phone call quality, Depth of Messaging features, Speaker phone quality
  • Cons: Viewing angles, EDGE only, Pixelated video capture
