Summary: The predictive texting (T9 input method) is default on this phone for every text. If you, like me, do not like T9, you have to change this setting every time you type a new message, which wastes countless amounts of time. This aspect of the phone needs to be rethought.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, t9 text input is a default that can't be changed!
Summary: My wife and I both have this phone. Low price from T-mobile. We both like the phone except for one thing-the volume button is on the side and gets mashed almost anytime one picks up the phone or even while talking.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight, value overall
Summary: The sound on an incoming text message is very low. Unless the phone is in my pocket or sitting beside me, I cannot hear the incoming text message. This phone is supposed to be an "upgrade" from the previous model, but I am really not happy with it.
Summary: This phone has a great speaker, sound is clear. The screen is a bit small, so sms are hard to read and of course the keypad isn't easy to write sms either. All in all, this is a great phone for somebody that just wants to make and receive calls. Can't complain for a phone at that price!
