Summary: This phone is horrible! Its too small and its so flimsy and cheaply made as if you drop it, it'll shatter! The screen looks terrible! The screen looks like a really old computer monitor from the 1800s. No volume control and the sound is not loud. No features on it, no games, there is no camera, and a terrible menu. Worst phone I've ever used! I gave up and bought a an LG440G tracfone flipphone for $12 more and so far I'm loving it!
Summary: I bought this phone after going through dozens of reviews over a week. It was a hard decision but it seemed to offer all the features I wanted. But I will never know. The phone finally arrived and I called Tracphone to put the time on it, only to find out that it will not operate in my area. Why in the world would someone sell a phone to someone outside the operating area? And why is it no-one, as I was doing the research, ever mentioned it was operationally limited?
Excerpt: I made a mistake. I bought this phone for my mother that stays a few states away in pretty much the wilderness. I got the phone because it is basic, and cheap. The cost of what my mother would pay to keep the phone going with some minutes, was also extremely cheap. So all in all I thought I had a winner. This GSM phone doesn't well for where my mom stays.
Excerpt: This is an awesome cellphone. And I'm not saying so because I'm massively impressed by the things it can do, but because I'm massively relieved that my father has accepted it. He aint one to welcome new technologies into his life, so he took a fair amount of convincing, ushering, and good old fashioned indoctrination to get him to carry it when he goes on his trips.
