Summary: This phone is horrible! Its too small and its so flimsy and cheaply made as if you drop it, it'll shatter! The screen looks terrible! The screen looks like a really old computer monitor from the 1800s. No volume control and the sound is not loud. No features on it, no games, there is no camera, and a terrible menu. Worst phone I've ever used! I gave up and bought a an LG440G tracfone flipphone for $12 more and so far I'm loving it!
Excerpt: When we recently discovered that our landline phone jack got messed up because of a mean summer storm and that it would cost $75.00 per hour for the phone technician to step in our house and check it out...I immediately sought out a less expensive way to keep in touch with friends and relatives. I already knew of family members that had gotten rid of their landlines in exchange for cell phones some time ago.
Excerpt: So I finally conceded to our children that it might be a very good thing to get a cell phone. Seeing that they were the ones trying to do the convincing, I thought it right that they get the phone for us as well. Seeing that I don't really harbor any interest in the things anyway. So they got us this phone that is apparently designed for the elderly. I suspect this is because of the big buttons, the voice enhancement, and the easy menu. Pretty simple and basic.
Excerpt: Well there is no doubt at all that Tracfone overall is a big money saver. High quality flip phone is the way to go. It is offered at a very affordable price and I have zero complaints. The coverage is coast to coast (still haven't come across a dropped call) which works out great when I travel often to visit my family in a different state.
Excerpt: Tracfone is the best choice for low-cost cell service. Tired of paying $40+ for a basic cell phone plan? With Tracfone you can own a phone for as little as $7 a month. Not very many minutes but if you use the cell seldom then why shell out 50 bucks for a basic contract? I just could not justify the cost of our contract cell phones any more and with the Tracfones we got we are saving at least $60 a month. A lot of money over the normal contract period of two years.
Excerpt: I recently purchased a motorola Tracfone flip cell phone. It is truly awesome. Cost of the phone was under $20. Everytime I purchase minutes I receive double minutes for the life of the phone. The phone takes pictures (and it takes beautiful high quality pictures!) You can e-mail with the phone and send text messages. It was one heck of a bargain and I didn't have to pay a lot of money like some of these phones that are sold with very expensive monthly plans.
Excerpt: Tracfone is a very wonderful and low cost cell phone service. I have been using tracfone for about 2 years now. I have the motorola W370. It is an okay phone. It is my original phone, my first one that I got. Some good things about it are: It is stylish, it looks like the motokrazr i think. it is easy to use, has a good screen and reception. Whenever my mom's phone is out of range, mine always works.
Excerpt: Well, I received this phone for Christmas from my son, and was so excited to be trying something new. I've had a contract cellphone for a couple of years now, but for me the bill that accompanied it, made it something I was apprehensive about using! While this phone has fewer of the features than my previous phone, I never used most of the features anyway, so this is more than adequate for talking and texting.
Excerpt: I was so impressed with our savings on Tracfone's Family Value Plan, I decided to try my folks on the Senior Value plan. The Samsung T155G is the phone they got and I was quite surprised with how sturdy it is for such a cheap phone ($15). They've had no problems finding their way around the phone's functions, it's hearing aid compatible and the screen and numbers are large and bright enough for easy viewing.
