Summary: This phone is perfect for a young teen if you don't want to pay for a data plan. They like the touch screen and the fact that you can access Wi-Fi. I put in a basic plan sim card and it works fine for only $10 a month more on my family plan.
Summary: Does everything I need and I got it unlocked, in factory packaging for about $100. I use my Nexus 7 tablet as my primary internet device, so this is mostly used as a phone with internet apps as a backup. Frankly anything less than a 7 inch screen is too small for my fingers. It is noteably slower than the quad core Nexus 7, but otherwise fine. The option of adding a micro SD card is great, and negates the limitations of the internal memory.
Summary: This is a great little android phone. We bought two and initially had trouble getting them to work with our carrier (consumer cellular), but now they are working great! Before they recognized our SIM cards, I called canmobility customer service and they were very professional. In fact just after calling them the phone suddenly recognized the SIM card before we got to troubleshooting. Not sure what the initial hang up was, they are doing perfectly fine now.
Summary: every thing is great about this phone, the only problem is the battery life. it doesnt last more than 4 hours. i really don t khow how to deal with this problem. I even downlaod battery life extended, but nothing. anyway, be aware of this problem before you decide to buy this phone.
