Samsung P300

1000113386, CNET
19 July 2006
  • Summary: I read a lot of user reviews before I decided to buy this phone (and i read the non-user reviews too which I took with a pinch of salt) and although some were less than complimentary, I'm my own person and CPW do a 14 day money back offer to it was a win-win situation!
  • Pros: Size, weight, stylish looks, without sacrificing functionality
  • Cons: The fact that it doesn't have expandable memory, a 2mp camera a la D600 but nobody is perfect

For the individual who wants a phone to be a phone, ableit one that looks damn good.

  • Excerpt: I was extremely satisfied with this phone and a bit upset when I lost it. Its small size is brilliant, and while one may tire of the barrage of people asking "why have you got a calculator", a P300 owner can rest in the knowledge that they've got a smart, efficient and good-looking phone.

  • Excerpt: Best phone. ring tone is quit, but everything else is A1. I am just upgrading to an Armani which is built on the same chassis. I could never go back to a bulky phone again!!Because of the case I never worry about a scratch on the screen. I do not need the accessory shop.

  • Summary: I bought it because it looked like a calculator. Plain and simple. I figured it will have the wow factor for a long long time to come. I heard that this phone is no longer in production, as such, this phone will be a great classic.
  • Pros: Build quality, calculator look, leather cover with built in battery, small size, wow factor
  • Cons: Difficult to hear phone ringing, hard to keep shiny area between keys clean

Worth investing in one, design is timeless

laurence C, Dooyoo
3 October 2006
  • Excerpt: Slim and solid-built quality. Extremely handy and portable, fits inside my leather business card holder. The only downside is the ringtone is a bit soft even at the highest level (level 5). Does not have TV/ monitor connectivity unlike other Samsung models.

  • Summary: Great looking phone that attracts loads of looks when pulled out. Battery life is good, photo shots are okay, the MP3 player is a bit tinny sounding, but that could be my MP3s.
  • Pros: Size of it
  • Cons: The leather case
