Summary: One works fine...the other one I had to send back for replacement. I was not holding a charge...even with a new battery. I was disappointed that I could not download some apps due to it being a "windows" phone.
Excerpt: I bought this product because it was free with a two year contract. I love the window office features on the phone, and the music features. I hate the GPS feature because I have to text the address to myself in order to start up the gps and its mandatory to have the zip code for the gps.
Pros: email access, windows office, messaging features, and skydrive skydrive
Summary: This was my first smart phone and I got a good deal for it. It is very fast and has a great interface. Beware though it won't work with the tmobile sim from Straight Talk. After hours upon hours of sites forums and Straight Talk people I came to realize it just doesn't have the Apn options to make...
Summary: The product arrived on time, but the packaging sucked. I understand it was a used product, but it could've at least gone through factory reset prior to arrival. Needless to say, I had to do it all. I'm a strong advocate for the android system, but this Windows phone is not so bad.
Summary: While this phone came out a couple of years ago, it's still a serviceable smart phone if you're not looking for the latest and greatest. If you are looking for something more fully fleshed out I would recommend either the latest Android or iPhone.
Pros: decent phone .takes decent pictures. good GPS. gets phone signal where a lot of other phones don't.
Cons: I am not a fan of windows OS for it. lot apps that are normally free they charge you for. phone is a pain 2 update. MY next phone will not be a windows phone .if I have learned anything from this .
Summary: The cell phone's mailing package was seal when I picked up. But the cell phone box seal was already opened when I opened external package warping. Carefully inspected every component, I think cellphone itself was maybe not used, but the paper holder had tears, indicating the unit had been taken out...
Summary: Two I917 purchases -- first one defective, inaudible ear volume. I did some online checking but was unable to determine if cell-to-ear volume was a specific model weakness. Three points from my ordering experience: 1) check the vendor's return policy before purchasing; 2) when you receive the order...
Summary: Changed from an iPhone 3G to this, have to admit that Microsoft/Samsung did a great job in the Software/Hardware tandem. This phone is fast, the screen looks amazing and the sound is pretty impressive for a cel phone. The price is affordable and surprising.
