Summary: This was my first smart phone and I got a good deal for it. It is very fast and has a great interface. Beware though it won't work with the tmobile sim from Straight Talk. After hours upon hours of sites forums and Straight Talk people I came to realize it just doesn't have the Apn options to make the data work for some weird reason. This phone only gives the option of APN, Username, Password, Proxy server and Proxy port.
Summary: The product arrived on time, but the packaging sucked. I understand it was a used product, but it could've at least gone through factory reset prior to arrival. Needless to say, I had to do it all. I'm a strong advocate for the android system, but this Windows phone is not so bad. It gets what I need done. This product did not come with a charger , which I foolishly assumed was automatic. Yeah, NOT! Be 100% sure your product description says charger included.
Windows Phone 7 is great, Samsung Focus is solid, DOES come unlocked, but has suspicious packaging

Summary: Straight from the vendor the phone is, in fact, unlocked (we use it on T-Mobile, but it should work with any GSM network with a SIM card, but NOT Verizon or Sprint or CDMA networks). This is our second Samsung Focus (the first was directly through Amazonwireless) and we love this phone! AT&T has dropped the ball big-time on updates, however, and you can only upgrade it to WP 7.5 Mango.
Summary: While this phone came out a couple of years ago, it's still a serviceable smart phone if you're not looking for the latest and greatest. If you are looking for something more fully fleshed out I would recommend either the latest Android or iPhone. I did notice some glaring omission/annoyance from this OS and Windows Phone 8 so I'll list the positive and the negatives below. Pros: 1. relatively cheap smart phone 2. Upgradable to Windows Phone 7.5 maybe eventually 7.8 3.
Summary: I just got my Samsung Focus i917 2 days ago and when I tried to update it, the phone started to reboot and hanged at the Samsung logo screen (would not boot up). There are no solutions to this and I cannot keep requesting a replacement phone every time a update messes up my phone. I think that I'd like the phone if I were actually able to try it. SO I'm gonna give it 3 stars.
Good Cellphone, but your money could be used on another.

Summary: I bought this phone after using iPhones and Android phones. I'm not really impressed because some apps that I used to use wasn't available in the marketplace. I'm also not used to the windows software and how some apps look like but overall this is a cool phone.
Summary: The phone works great, the picture is great, but battery life is poor. The lack of common apps, such as Pandora, is unacceptable. My biggest issue is incompatibility with the Toyota Entune Navigtion system in my new truck. This is the last Windows Phone I will ever own. The Android phones are the best option with Samsung.
