Summary: PHONE IS GOOD, I FACE TOO PROBLEMS 1. VIDEO RECORDING DOES NOT WORK. STILL PHOTOS ARE OK, BUT DOES NOT START VIDEO RECORDING 2. BATTERY CHARGING PROBLEM, SOMETIME EVEN THE BATTERY IS FULLY CHARGE IT DOES NOT SHOW THAT.
Summary: The cell phone's mailing package was seal when I picked up. But the cell phone box seal was already opened when I opened external package warping. Carefully inspected every component, I think cellphone itself was maybe not used, but the paper holder had tears, indicating the unit had been taken out and put back. Battery was seades in the plastic wrapping. Charger looked not used but was not wrapped. Headphone was put in original plastic pouch. But seal was broken.
Cons: There was a line of dead pixels on the left corner, but everything else was fine. Knowing that Newegg's RMA process was smooth, I went ahead and did it. The one I got back was clearly used, and the headphones pack was even labelled "used & not working". Newegg, I still love you, but you disappoint me.
Pros: The Good: Bright large screen. easy to navigate with touch. Some app allow keyboard to use in wider landscape mode. Easy email setup. Free Samsung MAP app work as good as the subscriber app AT&T Navigator. It also does not use much data allotment.
Cons: The BAD: touch keyboard is too responsive, difficult to get exact key to enter. Sending emails requires manual settings for some accounts.
Cons: Falsely advertised as expandable to 32G. Absolutely no response from Microsoft who insists on their certified SD cards of which their have been none available. Won't stay powered off while charging. Folders not available in text program.
Pros: It takes great pictures, it makes calls, it will send texts (sort of) and downloaded music sounds great
Cons: you cant download your own ringtones, you cant click links in text messages, you cant view videos or any flash content on web pages and you cannot play any game apps on web sites. you also cannot forward a media file to another phone unless you bluetooth
"Windows doesn't sync with MS Outlook Contacts/Calendar"
28 December 2010
Pros: Looks like a great phone, I played with it and bought it to replace my very functional and user friendly Blackberry Bold because I wanted a bigger screen with touch screen.
Cons: Microsoft, there is NO way to sync Outlook Contacts and Calendar. Bad Planning. Palm and Blackberry have done it for many years, and several Androids can do it - why not implement it on this Wondows O/S???? Bad planning.
Pros: great screen, fast internet - most of the time.
Cons: You have to jump through hoops to sync with Outlook, it drops a lot more calls then my blackberry, I can't download free ringtones. I am such a MS fan, that the windows 7 has been nothing short of major disappointment.
