As we’ve said in many of our reviews, the multimedia functionality in the phones nowadays takes great role. It is so important that most people first ask about the camera resolution and just then look if the phone will be compatible with their network. In their non-stop efforts to combine a phone with pocket digital camera, the manufacturers have reached a level when they have almost every phone equipped with some type of camera and more than one of the high-class... Like a Bentley Azure, this luxurious silver slider is a European import fit for a pimp. Sporting sleek lines, glitzy trim and a roomy (110 MB of memory) interior it also features standard options like a microSD slot good for up to 4 GB. Like the other 5-MP cam phones we test-drove, the combination of features like Bluetooth, FM radio and HSDPA made this one fun to handle. Snapshot tweaks like auto-shake and panoramas up to six images wide were useful. Read more

    • Puny Xenon flash. Laggy shutter. No GPS. Useless red-eye remover. Multishot and Mosaic functions only snap measly 60KB images. No standard 3.5mm headphone jack.

Samsung G800 is without doubt a strong contender in the cutthroat market share race. If you are looking for a dedicated cameraphone with a great camera, then you might have just found your next handset. It may not be the best looking mobile around, however it has its own brushed-metal style that some of us liked. Samsung SGH-G800 has a 2.4 inch screen with resolution of 240x320 pixels and it supports 262k colors. It is pretty vibrant with good photo and graphics quality. You can adjust the brightness, backlight time, and the color, size, and type of the dialing font. The menu interface is intuitive and simple and I loved the Samsung’s cool pop-up menus. I had mixed feelings about the Samsung SGH-G800 navigation array. Read more

The adorable Samsung G800 is a superior 3G phone which comes with high quality camera features. The 3G phone comes in a silver metal coloured casing or in a sleek black coloured casing which adds sophistication to this camera focused handset. The built in camera lens is situated on the back of the handset & comes with a protective lens cover which covers the lens when it is not in use to avoid damage & scratches occurring on the lens. There isn't anything I dislike about this phone. It works well, the battery is good, the camera is ok (but not great considering that is why I bought it) I can access Facebook Mobile and other mobile sites. It just lacks a certain something to make me love it. I've had it over 18 months and I'm in no major rush to change it for something new, but when I do I'll be hitting the shops rather than ordering without having a 'play' like I did with this one. I have now had this mobile for 8 months. It has everything i need on it FM radio, Bluetooth, Good camera, Stopwatch, MP3 player , Video recording and video calling plus much more. The camera is 5 megapixels and is fantastic i us the camera loads. Although the camera is good the picture size is bigger then most other phones and i have come across some phones that won't take the picture because of its size. Read more
