Summary: it's not a very good product, i rather to buy something else instead of this because it won't be able to use for a long time. the software that you have to use to transfer picture and music to the computer won't work at all, you have have to reboot the phone to get it to work again, i hate the touch screen because it's hard to type, if you are using keyboard and you are trying to type fast it won't be able to type all the words Caucasus it doesn't load fast
Excerpt: I would say samsung's impression is rather of an below average phone. I have been using this phone for almost a year now, and i have a two year contract. Recently I have been experiencing some malfunctioning of the qwerty keypad, when ever I would press let's say s it would double tap it for me writing ss.
Excerpt: Last year, I decided to make a big jump in my technology, going from a basic flip phone to this Samsung Impression. Some of the nice features that the Impression has include ~ Easily accessible and customizable home screen icons that can be easily hidden or moved. ~ Ability to connect pictures and ringtones to specific people ~ Pretty good battery life (I only have to charge every 2-3 days) ~ Quickly adapts to holding it horizontally or vertically ~ An easy-to-use...
Excerpt: I have had this phone for just under 18 months, and already am going on my third touch screen. I am no cavewoman, and I know to be careful when using this phone, so right off the bat I know that I did NOT do any damage to the screen by just daily use. Also, no, I didn't drop it. The first time I sent the phone back to Samsung, it was within the one year warranty period, so they fixed it for free, and I received my phone back 3 WEEKS later. UGH!
Excerpt: I've had my phone for almost 2 years. It's ok. It does some pretty off the wall stuff some times. It'll take hours to send a text message and you have to turn the phone on and off... to get it to send it. Also the keyboard is nice, but only if you type slow. If you hit the space bar some times it double clicks it and i have random periods pop up and double letters and then.. some times the letters don't even show up. The internet is super slow and hard to use.
Samsung Impression: Three in the family, two broke

Excerpt: My mom, brother and I all got ATT Samsung Impressions for our last upgrade. My brother's touch screen started freaking out and not working properly after about 4 months of use. Luckily, we had it under warranty so he just had to have another one sent to him. Just a few weeks ago, my touch screen completely stopped functioning at all one day. I had used my phone that morning and went to reply to a txt I'd just received, and the screen would not do anything.
Excerpt: I really liked the features & performance of my Impression. It had all the features I wanted or needed in a phone of its type. Call quality was good and volume good. This WAS the case, for about 5 months. I noticed after this time that it would drop calls, etc. Then one day I went to make a call and the screen was frozen. I had always turned off the set once a week to get updates. On occasion, this would also free up any other glitches it experienced.
Pros: Excellent Picture Quality! bright colors touch screen vibrate option Perfect size easy to slide out keyboard
Cons: Causes Aneurisms to User had to constantly recalibrate touch screen can't use regular head phones to listen to music screen would glitch and change colors. randomly turns off TOUCH SCREEN OFTEN DECIDES TO NOT WORK!!
