Summary: like it the keyboard I like a little bigger.........otherwise very nice phone. the transfer of photos to email ......a lot more involved than on my razor Motorola phone...... seems a little more involved in doing things compared to my razor..........but still I really like it....take longer to do things than on my razor phone.........
Summary: I just got the Rugby III today, seems good so far. I was trying to get my keys for the door & I accidentally dropped it from the 2nd story landing and it was raining. I thought, I hope there right about this phone it was all wet and it hit the lawn chair arm and then the sidewalk. I went down and got it and it was ok, not scratched. I made a call, and received one since then, all ok. Glad that was not my Atrix.
Pros: great for running around. , works in the rain.
Summary: A great little phone for the not so techy person, simple and rugged... Not a smart phone by any means it has a great speaker and if your prone to dropping your phone or getting your phone wet this is the product for you, it just feel like a heavy duty phone in your hands great for a contractor of some one who needs a sturdy no nonsence device.
Excerpt: I need a phone that I can abuse and that will always make/receive calls and that has a loud speaker. I don't text; I don't surf the 'net on my phone; I don't use my phone as a music player; I don't use my phone as a camera. I want real buttons to push when I call, not those flat numbers painted on a smooth surface. The Samsung Rugby has reliably made and received calls for the last year. It has real buttons and allows me to speed dial up to 9 programmed numbers.
Durable and easy to use, not just for construction workers

Excerpt: I am a busy mother of three small children and decided on the Samsung Rugby for it's durability. This was my most important feature, and I have been quite satisfied. Although I haven't dropped it into water yet, the phone has certainly been dropped on pavement a number of times, thrown across a wood floor once and bitten extensively. It is a so-called old fashioned flip phone, and my tech-savy husband says that it is 'lame', but that is why I like it.
Excerpt: this phone was great! i have had absolutely no problems and it charged in only 2 hours! full battery...yeah. that great. the charger is about two hundred centimeters long and i was able to get it all the way acrossed my room!!! The charger even came with it! I had one tiny problem which was that a button got stuck but i stuck some gum on it and its working perfectly now...
Excerpt: My husband recently purchased the Rugby based upon reccomendations. He needed a phone that could withstand the elements & take a beating. He works construction and sometimes the phone is abused when he's at work. He absolutely loves it!!! It is the best phone for him and he has had at least 6 phones prior to this purchase. If you need a tough phone, this is the one to look at.
Summary: This is my second Rugby. The over all phone workability is good. I do find that after having two, that the battery life does not last long before it needs recharged. It has some advanced features which are good but at the same time it is a simpler phone at the same time. This feature I find good for myself. The durability of the outer case is a nice feature since I am not the easiest on phones.
