almost looks smart!

Adolpho, Amazon
22 January 2014
  • Summary: I can't use a smart phone, but using my regular phone to text was starting to become a problem. When I have to do 4-4 4-4-4 to say hi, it's just too much, and then when I started typing like that well, 4-4-4 8 9 2 7-7-7-7 8 6-6-6 6-6-6 2-2-2 7-7-7 2 9-9-9-9 9-9-9. I like the full keyboard on this phone, because I don't have to make as many strokes to say the same thing, and it looks like a blackberry, only blue...is that a blueberry?

Pretty good phone for texting.

  • Summary: This is a pretty good phone for texting. It has a nice keyboard, and a 1.3 MP camera. The first one that came had a bad MicroSD slot. Cellular Gallery Inc. was really good about sending a replacement. They even pretested the MicroSD slot before sending it. This replacement unit works great! A small snag - AT&T needed to enter the serial number into their system before the SIM card would work. That necessitated a trip to the AT&T Store.

It Pleases Me

Amazon Customer, Amazon

  • Summary: The phone works completely the way that i hoped it would. It arrived two days after I ordered it and that made me very happy. It fully functions and feels great. I love the feel of the keypad although out is a little a tad different than what most qwerty keyboards have. I do like the fact that the camera button is on the keyboard instead of taking up space on the side of the phone. The speaker isn't as loud as I'd hoped. It's a very beautiful basic phone.

  • Excerpt: I have had my samsung propel for about 6 months.  It was the featured phone, buy one get one free, when my husband and I switched to AT&T.  This is the first sliding phone I have had, and I like the keyboard...it makes texting a lot easier.  So far, no technical problems, everything works great.  The cameral takes good pictures, the menu is very personalizable, and the features are good.

Samsung Propel has a full keyboard for a basic price!

  • Excerpt: I was a long-term holdout when it came to owning a cell phone.  I watched everyone around me texting and talking and wondered, "what was the big deal?" I finally caved to the craze about 7 months ago and my first phone was this Samsung Propel.  I decided on it, because not being very texting savvy, I liked the idea of a full keyboard.  AT&T was offering a rebate, so the price was right. I find this phone to be really easy to use.

The Samsung Propel is great for new texters.

  • Excerpt: The Samsung Propel surprises me with new gadgets to figure out every day!! I've had this phone for about a year, and I do think it's great for new texters; or just people who don't text every 5 seconds-- which is me. The keyboard buttons are a little small but with practice and sopmetimes concentration, you'll get the hang of it. The camera on the phone is not too shabby!

It is easily unlocked for preprogrammed numbers, or viewing text. The phone easily goes into and out of the carrying case for useage. The phone allows for easy texting with the qwerty keyboard. You can set and record ring tones for individual callers to know who is calling before you answer.
