Summary: Although "ancient" by some standards, the Samsung SGH-A737 has been by far my favorite flip-phone. The features, quality and functionality has not been beat and I have returned to this phone several times.
Excerpt: This is a very fun phone. I love the slider feature and the fun color options you get (I have the orange phone, but I think there is a green one and some other fun colors too). I've had the phone for two years, and it still works pretty well. My battery used to last a long time (~5-6 days), but now I have to charge it every day or two. My reception isn't perfect, but it's not too bad. Sometimes it sounds fuzzy when I have several bars, and sometimes my friends will...
Excerpt: So easily I sometimes worry that I’m going to tear the thing in two. Even when I’m cleaning the display the thing will slid open. Pictures are crisp (as long as minimal amount of movement when snapping photo) and picture nicely, video’s are not jumpy at all. Overall, if you chose to get the Samsung a737 I don’t believe you’ll be disappointed in it. My 13 year old has one too, and he loves it (of course, he’s also used to the Motorola V180).
Excerpt: Although it’s a great, durable phone, I had an issue with it just recently: The phone kept alerting me that I had new voicemails, but when I went to check them, there were no new messages. For a day or two, on and off over a span of roughy a week, my phone did this, greatly annoying me. Then, one day it just stoppecd and now my slider is back to normal again. It’s an absolutely wonderful cellphone, it’s just not perfect. Like anything, there are some small flukes.
