Not too happy with it

  • Excerpt: I bought this phone mainly for the elegant looks - at that time, it was one of the snazziest-looking phones around. By and large, it worked fine in India. When I tried to use a pre-paid (local) SIM card in Germany, it became very erratic. It often did not find the network etc.

  • Excerpt: On usual tradition each new model Samsung completes under the full program. SGH-2400 has not become an exception. Only, that is not present at this phone, so it is of support of protocol WAP.

  • Excerpt: The following are just the main features, the SGH2400 is a great phone, and certainly reccomended by me! The SGH2400 has voice activated dialling. This comes in useful when you can't remember a certain persons number, or if you simply can't be bothered keying the number in!

  • Excerpt: The Samsung SGH-2400 was recomended to me by a friend. The phone itself is very small and lightweight and fits easily into any pocket. Battery life lasts a couple of days. The screen is of good quality and high resolution making navigation and reading txt messages easier to read.

Dead in the shadow of the 3210

14 June 2001
  • Excerpt: A very sexy looking phone! OOOOOh with vibration too!!! Seriously, this phone looks the biz. But being used to the Nokia 3210(see my review) I found this user unfriendly. Main things I missed were on the alarm feature, no snooze and no symbol on the display to confirm you had set it.
  • Pros: Loud ring .  Sexy
  • Cons: Having to charge so often and fiddling with the rubber cover .

  • Excerpt: Well I have been using a samsung Sgh2400 mobile phone and its pretty expensive. well the prices have dropped though but not much. Well like the typical mentality that we all posses the costlier the better as far a quality goes. Well this is not the case with samsung.

  • Excerpt: The SGH2400 is great phone from Samsung. I'll get straight to the point why, and just do a run through of all its features, that way you can make up your own mind whether I'm right or not! It is much easier to remember the features of a phone if set out in a list, so here goes.....
  • Pros: Vibrate, dual band, hands free included
  • Cons: Reception not always brilliant

Small, light and discreet

free14, Ciao
20 February 2001
  • Excerpt: I chose this phone as it was the lightest, smallest phone I could get in the recent BT shops £180-cashback deal. I don't think I'll ever feel the need for a smaller lighter phone; only the protruding aerial mars the design (but that probably stops it falling out of my pocket all the time, so maybe I...
  • Pros: Small, light, vibrating alert
  • Cons: Lack of suppliers for data cables
