A Okay Phone?
9 September 2012
Excerpt: The Samsung Intensity or sch-u450 is a very okay phone. This phone has some very good qualities. My son who is 13 years loves this phone sometimes. This phone has a QWERTY keyboard which is good for my sons avid texting. LOL! This phone has a 3.0 Megapixel Camera. The only problem with this phone is that you cant zoom in very much. Which stinks. Also you can't take video. This phone has speed dial, which is great if you have a lot of contacts.
Excerpt: My wife picked out this phone for me after ours were both on their last legs. It's a nice looking little phone and the sound quality is pretty good. My wife's phone has been great with battery life and she only charges hers every few days. Mine, however, does not seem to be the same. It seems to lose juice pretty quickly and I'm not sure why since I know I use mine less than she does. The slide out keyboard is ok, but it's not something I use often. One thing I...
Excerpt: I requested this phone for Christmas because I thought it would be free with my new plan. Not only was it not free, but it cost more than the phone I really wanted. Besides the initial pricing issues, the phone fell apart for the first time the day I had it, and the case would not stay on. Since then I have discovered that the back of the case is made from very thin plastic and doesn't stay on very well. One of the buttons has also stopped working.
Excerpt: I think the cricket phone: Samsung Messanger r450 which is now discontinued. Is great for talk and text only. In the contact information section, you only have a space for their name and number. You can't even put someone address in, or save their birthdate. You only have space for work, mobile, home numbers. I heard it like that for all their phones. Don't quote me. I hate their web features. There web features always say network connection lost when you try to...
Excerpt: I was given my Samsung Messgenger SCH-U450 from Verizon. It is a pretty cheap phone. There are really no bells and whistles. The volume seems to be okay. The sliding feature of the phone seems to work out pretty well. I like having that there to text with. I also opted for the Verizon Wireless Navigator, which is like a fake GPS thing. It doesn't seem to be very accurate, but I believe that to be a product of Verizon and not Samsung.
Thanks for the Samsung Intensity son...I love you!

Excerpt: My son gave me a Samsung Intensity (SCH-u450). I'd been wanting to upgrade from my Razr with something that had a keyboard. I'd been shopping around on the internet, when my son gave me the Samsung. I like the phone. It's compact and light weight. It has an adequate screen and comes with the usually bell and whistles like speakerphone, mobile web, a camera, etc. What I don't like about it is that it has no video camera. I have a grandson and I love taking pictures...
Excerpt: The samsung intensity is a very stron phone, as I have dropped it a few times and it has still survived. It is also soft in its appearance. It is a popular girl phone, especially with its bright cherry color. The buttons on the outside are annoying and I find myself butt dialing people even though the phone has a key lock feature, but if you hold the lock button while its locked it will unlock. also, the \voice command button on the outside is a terrible feature...
Excerpt: Overall I have been pleased with this phone. The LCD screen gets messed up alot with use, but I purchased an LCD film to go over it so that isn't an issue any longer. Battery life seems to be good, so I'm pleased with that.
Excerpt: Well, I was pretty much forced to get this phone because my mom didn't want to pay $10/month for some package you had to get with the env3. :b This phone isn't absolutely horrible. It was cheap. It's pretty durable (I've dropped it in apple juice and all sorts of things STILL works). The sound of the ringtones are HORRIBLE. I've downloaded some and they sound like I recorded them at a crappy local band show.
Excerpt: The Samsung Intensity is somewhat a disappointment. It's biggest problem is the camera. Photos are blurred with no color intensity at all. There is no video camera on this phone. So if you are a camera buff, skip the Intensity. The Qwerty keyboard is a nice feature if you do much texting.
