Summary: I was expecting an Intensity II to replace the one I already have. I was disappointed to find this to be an older version of my phone and I couldn't use my charger and phone covers with this one.
Summary: The phone is fine. It's a basic phone. It worked for about 2 months and then the phone just stopped charging. I used another charger that was compatible with the phone and it again did not charge. The battery was dead. In 3 months time, the battery died. This is unacceptable to me. Thankfully we had an old phone in the house and I was able to switch out the batteries and now it works fine again. Beware of old batteries when you buy from this seller!
Summary: I chose this because it an okay product. The only thing was that I didn't get it on time. Over all its a good phone. One of the keys is a little messed up and there's some scratches and bumps on it but it work good. I kinda wish it was in a little better condition but i understand its a used phone.
Summary: Pretty good phone, had to reset if a couple times because it was malfunctioning, have to update roaming capabilities if you go into a different town. This is now my sons toy phone because I changed providers.
Excerpt: The Samsung Intensity or sch-u450 is a very okay phone. This phone has some very good qualities. My son who is 13 years loves this phone sometimes. This phone has a QWERTY keyboard which is good for my sons avid texting. LOL! This phone has a 3.0 Megapixel Camera. The only problem with this phone is that you cant zoom in very much. Which stinks. Also you can't take video. This phone has speed dial, which is great if you have a lot of contacts.
Excerpt: My wife picked out this phone for me after ours were both on their last legs. It's a nice looking little phone and the sound quality is pretty good. My wife's phone has been great with battery life and she only charges hers every few days. Mine, however, does not seem to be the same. It seems to lose juice pretty quickly and I'm not sure why since I know I use mine less than she does. The slide out keyboard is ok, but it's not something I use often.
Excerpt: I think the cricket phone: Samsung Messanger r450 which is now discontinued. Is great for talk and text only. In the contact information section, you only have a space for their name and number. You can't even put someone address in, or save their birthdate. You only have space for work, mobile, home numbers. I heard it like that for all their phones. Don't quote me. I hate their web features.
Thanks for the Samsung Intensity son...I love you!

Excerpt: My son gave me a Samsung Intensity (SCH-u450). I'd been wanting to upgrade from my Razr with something that had a keyboard. I'd been shopping around on the internet, when my son gave me the Samsung. I like the phone. It's compact and light weight. It has an adequate screen and comes with the usually bell and whistles like speakerphone, mobile web, a camera, etc. What I don't like about it is that it has no video camera.
