Summary: I was told when I bought the phone that the charging cable could be used to transfer photos from the phone to my computer. Not. Since we don't have a data plan with our phone (& prefer not to have one) the only way to transfer pix is via text or the internet. We are both disappointed since we both bought the Gustos. Other than that it's a practical, handy dandy phone. Recommend to a friend? It depends on what they're looking for.
Summary: I have had this phone for 18 months and it has seen some hard work, and yet it keeps on working! I love that it doesn't crack the screen if it is dropped accidentally, also that it tolerates a damp and dusty environment without complaint. Thank you Samsung for making a basic phone for us hard laborers!
Summary: I recently got this phone as a way to keep in touch across the country. While I'm not usually a fan of clam shell phones, this one is relatively easy to use and even had a set up wizard to allow me to personalize it directly from the box. For the price, you just can't beat it as a prepaid phone.
Summary: This phone was purchased for its ear to mouth length and ability to work with my hands free device. So far it does very well and other than the fact that I would have to purchase an extra app to get free ring-tones I would say it is a good little phone for someone who doesn't need to be out of touch with reality. All I need is to be able to stay connected when I am away from home (waiting for a call from a possible employer).
