Not for my 93 year old mother. Buttons not good for her to use.

Summary: I bought this for my 93 year old mother. She does have a difficult time getting into the directory because of arthritus in her fingers. It is very easy for her to bump th e911 button. I thought it would be good for her because of the bigger display but the buttons are just not big enough or the shape isn't right for her to use comfortably. I had a razor for her before & she had no problems with the buttons on that, but the screen went blank.
Summary: I determined the best type of phone is a simple phone; I used to have several smartphones where the sole focus of operation had been set on features as opposed to the phone itself; i found that smartphones were able to download, stream, send and receive just fine but I would get in return alot of disconnected calls, poor service/signal quality and agravation with clients. I decided to switch to a phone with none of the features and the simplicity of a "phone".
great product for older people or someone who just needs a basic phone

Summary: I got this for my 90 yer old mother who is not very technical at all. She had been using an non-flip phone for years which ended up dunked in a water glass. So far this has been great except sometimes she forget to open to answer. The large fonts are great and keys are simple and easy to use. One thing I would like to see on a product like this is some way to lock the external buttons.
Summary: My wife and I each have this phone, and really like it. We have one serious problem: the phones turn off unexpectedly when it gets to about 50% charge on the battery. Very frustrating! We exchanged one of the batteries, which did not solve the problem. Since it does not always happen, we cannot reliably test it. A change I really would like is the calculator. It always rounds to two decimal places. Wish it only rounded when display was full.
Summary: I am completely satisfide with my Samsung Haven Cell Phone. The phone was very easy to understand for all of us whom are not phone savy. I use my cell phone only for emergency/family needs; I do not utilize the internet, etc. It was easy to understand the features on the phone; entering contacts, erasing old messages, was a snap. The phone buttons seem to be just the right size, color, position, etc.
Summary: I just got this phone for my wife. Very good phone with bright clear screen with large characters. Great for us old folks who can't see as well as we used to. Very intuitive to use. I like the voice mail button, ICE(in case of emergency) button and speaker button to toggle speaker on or off. Just a plane phone....no music or camera. It also has no memory card. Only way to add photos is to text them via MMS.
