Excerpt: I was really excited when I first got this phone. The optical mouse by far exceeds any trackball or optical trackball on any device on the market. Everyone phone should have one. However, the hardware/processor problems were unbelievable. I am about to receive my 4th replacement. There have been 4 - yes, 4 - complete processor failures where the device just goes into complete meltdown. The first time, the phone rebooted itself, but never came back up.
Summary: Generally, features this phone is completed. you will get wifi access, GPS device, bluetooth,Windows Mobile OS, camera, etc. and it is very comfort using touchscreen or qwerty keyboard so you can write text message easlily. and the optical trackpad is faboulus. it's very fun. i like it better than trackball. in my country i can use GSM or CDMA carrier. i use both of them althouh it was single ON.
Summary: The Samsung SCH I770 is packed full of useful applications but falls short in two critical areas. PROS -The touch screen works very well and the mouse mode is easy to use. It does have a sylus pen but there is no need to use it. The screen is easy to see and the word completion and spell check sending txt is very nice. The Microsoft office applications are a must for business users. The camera works acceptable and takes good web publishable pics.
Excerpt: I really wanted to like this phone, since it's my only option to sync with Exchange over the air while global roaming on Verizon. Sadly, it's a miserable device, and the most ill thought out implementation of WM6.1 i've ever seen. The batter life is terrible, the touchscreen doesn't disable while talking, so when you're done you have 25 different apps open doing who knows what, the screen turns on every few minutes for no reason (probably the reason for the poor battery...
