Too old to use for wifi w/o data but can be good multi tasking phone
7 August 2014
Summary: I bought this phone because i was looking for one similar to the kin where you could use the wifi and the phone without having to pay for data package, it is a nice usable phone. it has a couple of games and the schedule calendar features are pretty handy.
Excerpt: I was really excited when I first got this phone. The optical mouse by far exceeds any trackball or optical trackball on any device on the market. Everyone phone should have one. However, the hardware/processor problems were unbelievable. I am about to receive my 4th replacement.
Summary: Generally, features this phone is completed. you will get wifi access, GPS device, bluetooth,Windows Mobile OS, camera, etc. and it is very comfort using touchscreen or qwerty keyboard so you can write text message easlily. and the optical trackpad is faboulus. it's very fun.
Summary: The Samsung SCH I770 is packed full of useful applications but falls short in two critical areas. PROS -The touch screen works very well and the mouse mode is easy to use. It does have a sylus pen but there is no need to use it.
Excerpt: I really wanted to like this phone, since it's my only option to sync with Exchange over the air while global roaming on Verizon. Sadly, it's a miserable device, and the most ill thought out implementation of WM6.1 i've ever seen.
Pros: Great keyboard, Mouse mode made navigating WM6.1 almost tolerable, Only phone that can synch OTA with Exchange and roam globally
Cons: No screen lock during phone use - awful!, Terrible battery life, No d-pad with clicks (you have to swipe a finger), Callers say I sound muffled on the other end (mostly because i keep it away from my face to not screw up my settings)
Excerpt: I bought this after using a Moto Q with WM5 and a Samsung Blackjack II for international. Both were the smartphone edition of WM, which i think is infinitely better than the cluttered mess of WM6.1 Pro.
