Summary: I purchased the Samsung Fascinate in March 2014. I was a little unsettled by the cosmetic make on the phone, but accepted it, understanding it is used. Haven't tried downloading anything yet. Everything works perfect so far, charge holds for days, no sudden shut offs or ons like my husbands phone. Maybe he needs to try the Samsung Fascinate.
The battery life is the worst... the phone itself is acceptable.

Summary: The battery life is terrible! Has alot of good features easy to navigate Bought as my first data phone it works as expected Its basic and not nearly as fast as some others but does what I need it to do.
Summary: The phone was perfect until the first update to Froyo. I was getting two and a half days to a battery. After Froyo, less than a day. After Froyo the touch was noticeably diminished, and there were great lags in almost any use. The patch came out and boosted the battery to a full day, but did little for the diminished touch and lag. Then Gingerbread came. The first thing I noticed was the volume was softer and could not be turned up.
Summary: I bought my first Fascinate back in March. After I broke that one I found another one on Amazon thinking it would perform as well as my first one did. I had heard about the problems they'd been recalled for and wasn't sure what the fuss was about as my first phone didn't have any problems. I've since received my second Fascinate and after a few months of using it, I've started to want a different phone. this one will occasionally just start freaking out for no reason.
Pros: resolute display screen, ease of button features, sound is good
Cons: no built-in text messaging has got to be the ultimate problem I have with this phone. The browser that came with the phone has to be upgraded if you want any type of speed / useability ; no exp. slot
