Excerpt: I have had to go to store many times due to frequent freezes. All they ever did was factory reset. and nothing helped. It took a year before the OS was upgraded, and still never helped. I became a pro at opening the case to take out battery as that was the only way I could re-start the phone.
I think this a good type of phone, but I had bad luck with this one.

Summary: I brought this phone as Christmas gift for a friend. When I received it I noticed that It was not shrink wrapped. After giving the phone to my friend, there a white line going down the display screen. Two Verizon reps stated that this is manufacturer defect.
Excerpt: I've had the Continuum for about 2 months now and regret purchasing it. Given what I know now, I would get an iPhone. The display is nice, but the disadvantages outweigh this. The OS (v 2.1) is buggy, I have to restart the phone about every other day to set things straight.
Excerpt: I almost returned the Continuum twice in the last 4 months ready to pay Verizon the penalty. I have now traced the problems like sluggishness, touch screen not working etc to over.heating When it is cool I would rate it a 5 without question. Other smartphones apparently have similar problems.
Excerpt: I recently got this phone and sent it back in the 30 day trial period. It freezes (a lot) and the screen is very small. It's difficult to type even when I turn the phone horizontally. I'm a recruiter and work daily with social media but this phone was too much even for me.
