After buying this cell it would not send text photos
23 March 2014
Summary: I like slider cells, just slide then talk. To bad the programming for AT&T USA wasn't installed so I could send photos. If you want to know the kind of cell I ended up with, Motox . Don't like the internet thing but have all that turned off. It takes excellent photos. I loaded a app that answers calls automatic so I don't have to touch cell it stays in my pocket. That fixes having to touch the screen. For me I was making lots of false calls.
Summary: THis was not built for the American market, so the strange things that this phone does are forgiveable. It takes a while to get used to this phone, a lot longer than it should. That said, it does everything it is advertised to do which is to blend a touh-screen phone with a slider phone. But switching back and forth mentally between the 2 form factors can really be daunting sometimes. It is not very ergonomic either.
Excerpt: sms totally sucks. It takes to much time to type one message, causes me headache. touch screen works well only with the pointer mp3 player and the camera are the only good things on the phone, but again, I have extra mp3 player and a good camera, so I don't particularly need them on the phone.
Summary: "Very nice looking phone and its a great size that fits into any pocket or small bag but id say that's where the good points end! There are definitely better phones on the market at the minute. I cant believe so many people are rating this so highly. The screen is so over responsive, you have to do everything in slow motion or you get a million things on the screen that you never wanted.
Summary: "bought this phone basically for the looks and it was a touch screen phone. being a mechanic my previous phones suffered from keypad abuse, and six months in the phone still works. menu system a nightmare in that i dont think its very logical in where they place some sub categories. i dont really use the internet as there nothing i want to view and to be honest id rather do that on my home PC.
Excerpt: After having Samsungs for years and my last one being the mighty Soul I'm a bit disappointed that the user-defined shortcut menu is no more! (who wants a stupid widget!?) It's also changes so drastically that it's quite hard to get used to. But what almost made me return it was the predictive text - no apostrophe!!! It's driven me nuts for the past week that I couldn't write ' I'm ' at all!
Excerpt: Guys, I wish I could tell you that the geniuses at Samsung had hit the jackpot again. I really really wanted to like this phone, it looks the nuts. On paper, the specs read like a wishlist and in isolation they are brilliant. But its the way that its been set up for British markets which heavlily flawed.I'll give you an example of the "that will do" attitude that has let this phone ruin itself.
Cons: Too expensive for a badly 'woven together' handset, Text messages, effectively no apostrophes, Predictive text that doesn't learn new words., Insensitive touch screen, Unlockable widget menu that pops open at every given opportunity, Fake calls that seem to go off at inopportune times, Contact name look-up is awful
