Panos, HandCellPhone

  • Summary: QWERTY keyboard is a great loss for this phone. And it is so esay for Samsung to add it. It has Accelerometer and all the features that she needs to develop this feature. After that almost nothing could be left for this phone to develop .....

Environment-friendly shouldn't mean feature poor

Khanukaev Nicolas, Amazon
9 August 2010
  • Summary: First of all it is not Android-based, but Samsung's proprietary OS. For an average user it should be fine, but any advanced feature you'd expect from such a hardware, is unavailable. I used a Nokia 6021 for 5 years and expected to have more features from such an advanced device, but was disappointed - because everything is of gadget quality - beautiful, but hardly functional. Bluetooth is buggy and has to be restarted often if you want to use it for dial-up.

Great phone, but unlocked had no internet on AT&T

Philip J. Hatlie, Amazon
9 August 2010
  • Summary: I really loved the phone but the unlocked version couldn't get internet through AT&T. I suspect this is yet another ploy by the mega company to force us to buy the AT&T version of the phone. I really did love the phone though. Bummer.

H. ALYAMI, Amazon
9 August 2010
  • Summary: Lack of arabic language support stopped me from using it, Solar charging is very weak and it takes very long time, but it helps in lack of AC power, GPS is stupid , no software for mapping or even simple use as saving location. very difficult navigation to change settings, no full keyboard while they can do it. no internet community support or even company support.

more interesting than functional

Mark V. Demma, Amazon
9 August 2010
  • Summary: I like the phone. It's made of plastic water bottles, has solar panels, and offers some other cool "green" features. As far as the phone itself goes it's very average. The solar panels do work but i've left it in the sun for an hour and barely gotten any kind of a charge from it. Everything else is really just par for the course for what a phone is supposed to do. It's a fine phone but way over priced.

A new experience of Samsung Touch screen phone!

NicLovesSamsungTouch, Phone Arena
4 August 2010
  • Excerpt: This is my personal comment for this beautiful and surprising Solar panel touch screen phone! Design: 10/10 When you get a first look on any Samsung Touch screen phones, you will expect a boring black color in the front which make it feel non unique. But when i got a look in this phone for the first time during purchase, the beautiful marble like blue color attracts me and i'll never get bored looking at it.
  • Pros: -Solar Panel, -WiFi and 3G, -Long lasting battery, -Fun eco UI and apps, -Attractive marble like blue
  • Cons: -Camera lacks auto focus and flash., -No virtual Qwerty, -Should have a AMOLED and bigger screen., -No 3.5mm Earphone jack
