Summary: This phone is tough but that's it's best feature. The side mounted buttons interfere with just carrying this the PTT button when pressed accidentally in hand or holster bumps alarms and calls off when you try to answer the phone. The volume buttons also interfere. Once the PTT button is locked if you get a PTT call you must drop the call, go to three menus and then turn the PTT talk button on by then you could have just called. The front screen is not needed.
Pros: Durable, rugged and tough
Cons: Too big, Did not meet expectations, side buttons in the way.
Summary: I like most of the features but somethings could be moved like the volume buttons I answer with left hand and ear and my thumb hits the volume buttons if I don't pay close attention when on the phone. I am sure I will learn how to use the phones features in time to get a new one like how to get easier access write message. I will say it is a nice phone but will keep an open mind until first wet trip on the airboat and we will see if it can hold a candle to my last phone.
Summary: This phone has many good features, I don't care for there placement, They are kind of confusing. The camera button should be where the GPS button is... Price was good, Took to long to get to me, Customer Service was very good.
Summary: I like the look and feel. I don't like the placement of the PTT and SPEAKER button because they are activated just from the way I normally hold the phone. Also, the solicitation for PTT and Citi Wide are annoying. Consumers should be able to delete the pop-ups and remove the APPs from their phones, if they choose. Consumers should still have a choice as to whether they want to join the apps race.
Summary: Rception is ok but not as good as my cheap nokia. You can not disable the PTT button and it is almost always pushed when you open the unit. I finally glued mine open with titebond II by using a toothpick to filet the glue. Now I don't have to worry about the PTT button. The other problem is the non standard interface connector. This unit is thick enough to have a regular stereo jack and standard mini usb connector but they have a special one.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
Summary: I loved this phone when I first got it. It was rugged and I'm not exactly delicate. Now, I sort of tolerate it. I'm passed the anger of its locking up and not letting me add contacts. And it's inconvenient that the alarms no longer work. What really made me made was losing some photos that I'll never get back. But hey, it is phsyically durable. So, if the body matters more than the mind to you , go ahead and get one. Personally I'm looking for something else.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color
Summary: Wish I could plug in my skullcandy. As big as this phone is you think they could fit a standard jack. Screen could beway bigger. The functions while closed seem realy minimal. I want to listen to music while I snowboard!!!! this phone costs too much.
Summary: I had this phone before I had the Samsung Evergreen. This phone has great features. The only drawback is the text messaging. About 50% of the time it would send the text message the first time. The other 50% of the time it would return to the home screen without sending the message and then later I'd find out that it didn't send at all. Again, Samsung, I love where you are going with it but the text messaging glitch is a big setback.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, camera, music player
Cons: doesn't send texts about 50% of the time, no 3.5 mm headset jack
