It should be called the Samsung NOgue

  • Excerpt: I bought the Samsung Rogue for my girlfriend's daughter and I can honestly say that this is one of the worst phones that I have ever purchased.  I have been using cellphones since 1995 or 1996 and I have experienced good, better and best and now I can say that I have experienced worse.  The phone, which is serviced by Verizon, has no means available to download and install any free software.

Customers beware

culby74, Ebay

  • Summary: Phone worked for a month. Have purchased 3 phones from ebay and all the phones stop working after a few months. The phones sold on ebay are outdated phones that cell phone companies don't want anymore.

onenonjohn, CNET
22 August 2011
  • Pros: The slider is a nice feature. Call quality was nice. Bluetooth was also a great feature.
  • Cons: Battery life was average at best when it was new, then deteriorated over time. Phone powers off and back on randomly, or freezes. Eventually stopped working after a year and a half.

"Honestly the worst phone to buy!"

bobbywde, CNET
14 August 2011
  • Pros: Touch screen works well, however, the screen can split and change making it impossible to get anything done. Phone is easy to use and the keyboard is handy.
  • Cons: This phone would be great if I didn't have to restart it every text or minute because the screen will split or not receive messages. I have had two phones where the screen has popped off the phone and others which will shut off on me every time I open the

  • Pros: can make phone calls
  • Cons: horrible user interface, horrible support, lousy web browser, no software for connecting to a PC (yes, you've heard it right) - can't download pictures, can't even download the address book -- Samsung admits in the website that there's NO WAY to transfer

"Horrible, Horrible, Hor-ri-ble"

ladybug678, CNET
6 March 2011
  • Pros: HA! Pros, the pros would be that the screen is nice, and big, and it has a beautiful picture.
  • Cons: 1. The battery life 2. It freezes 3. Turns itself off 4. My screen splits in half (The picture, not the touch) and shifts. 5. Takes FOREVER to charge. 6. If you send a text, then get a new one, one you're trying to send takes forever to send or fail.
