Summary: I like this phone. Its basic, NOT a smartphone and thats what I was looking for. HOWEVER because it is capable of using internet and such things called WIDGETS (like apps before apps) Verizon REQUIRES the $9.99 a month data and email plan. Stupid if you ask me because the internet isnt this phones HIGH point and facebook on this device is very smal and difficult to opperate, coming from years of smartphones in the past.
Excerpt: This Samsung Rogue has been at my side for over 3 years. I am forced to put this wonderful Verizon phone aside as NOW i am Switching to T-Mobile, they have a better PrePaid Offer... I wish PhoneArena had a Comparison of Rival phones from other Carriers.
A great little feature phone, a great value as well.

Summary: Purchased this phone to replace busted up pantech crux for my mom. She is in her late 60's and hasn't had any trouble making the transition. We like the "smartphone-like" features, makes the phone more fun to use. Really like having the option to use physical qwerty keyboard as well as touchscreen. BIG PLUS for her is the volume: ringing volume, messages and/or notification volume, in-call volume. She can hear it ringing from the next room (without hearing aids).
Summary: This phone is a little bit bigger than I would like it to be like other reviews mentioned, but overall it is a great phone. Love the widgets which make it easy to access tools like the alarm clock, pictures, notepad, etc. from the home screen. Pretty user friendly. Also, it can be used with or without purchasing a data package which is nice especially for those like me who do not want to pay extra for the data.
Great phone! love to see the next one that comes out soon!

Summary: Love this phone. It has great features and is a level below a complete smart phone. It is a little bulky since it has the pull out key board, but it has a great big screen. Also love that there is a flash option for photos. Wld recommend this phone to friends and family wanting something similar to a smart phone without the bill. I pay $10 a month for email on this phone, but it is well worth it.
Summary: I bought this phone because people were having trouble hearing me on my old phone and it wasn't covered under warranty because I had removed the top piece of the camera because it had cracked and my 2 year contract was not over. I have not had a touch screen before but the touch screen seems hard to push, I press a lot on the phone and nothing happens. Battery life is very poor also. Otherwise, I really like the phone and it's features.
Excerpt: The Samsung Rogue is so far the best phone I've had. It's simple, lightweight, and durable. What I really love about this phone is the QWERTY keyboard. The keyboard is really easy to use and is meant for people who like to text or fast texters. The only downsides to this phone are that sometimes it freezes if you try to do too many things at once and that it will reset on it's own. Other than that, it's a pretty great phone.
Excerpt: I have been extremely with my Samsung Rogue. Very user-friendly, durable and free from problems or defects. Clarity is great and it offers enough applications without being obnoxious. QWERTY keyboard has larger keys than some others, making texting SO much easier. I loved it so much I got one for my husband and mom!
Excerpt: I like the phone and some of the games and apps that I can use with it. There are some problems with the phome. The battery life is too short, it shuts off on it's own and will reset on it's own when trying to delete text messages. I think I might start to look for a new phone.
Samsung Rogue from Verizon - For someone who wants it all!
9 September 2012
Excerpt: I've had my Samsung Rogue from Verizon Wireless for about a month now. It has so many features and free applications I don't think I've been able to play with them all yet! I wanted to experience all the rage over touch screen, but did not want to go through the frustration of trying to type on a touch screen keypad. The slide out QWERTY keyboard is perfect for texting, emailing and surfing the web.
