Summary: the fact that its a old school phone and i was able to find it on you auction site. i personaly like the phone, nobody today has it. the phone was in excellent condition and the price was too hard to pass, good pricing. wish some would do for the newer phones.
Summary: Its good but the screen is lacking bright colors. Could be because the phone is a couple years old and back then they did not have vibrant colors like now on phones... Good all around phone though.
This phone Is one of the worst out there!!!! BEWARE!!!

Excerpt: believe me, DON'T GIT THIS PHONE! and if you have it, try to git rid out it ASAP! ok first of all, I've had this phone for about 2 years. this is my second N-400 because the first was defective, and the one i have now is ALSO defective. I have updated the firmware and also I have asked to run a screen test on my phone (I did this twice, both the first N-400 i had, and now this one).
Excerpt: I have used the phone since March 2003. I have had generally good service with it. I have had it on my belt when taking a couple serious spills on my bike and scrapped the body of the phone and banged it hard. It still worked fine.
I have read some comments on the lock up issue. My phone has done this a couple times. That's it. Not a big deal. I have also read about a firmware update.
Excerpt: The problem with this phone is that it freezes on you about 2 to 3 times a day. It doesn't matter if your lowering the volume, pressing the talk button or ending a call, the phone will freeze on you. The only way to unfreeze the phone is to undue the battery and restart the phone. Another problem is that when you are looking through the phone book or going through the settings, the phone will bring you back to the main screen.
Excerpt: I've had this phone for just over a year now and find the problems have gotten to be too much to take anymore...
I got this phone when it first came out because of the flat shape, so I could put it in my back pocket, and the speaker phone. I am constantly on conference calls and thought it was a great feature. This is where the fun ends...
Things I liked:
Color, internet, nice ringers, comfortable, small design.
Excerpt: So the next version of the popular Samsung Phone arrives! At first glance the N400 seems like the phone to buy, with all the options and price of a great phone, but looks can be decieving and this phone can fool the pants off ya. Working for Sprint, I'm able to compare all the phones and give a good unbiased opinion.
1. Speakerphone, awesome! Full duplex, loud and one of the better speakerphones I've seen on a celly in a while.
