Excerpt: I have had several touch screen phones (Treo, Centro) and this one just doesn't compare. I sometimes have to charge my phone 2 times a day if I send more than 6 or so text messages & make a single 2 min phone call. If you have your bluetooth headset connected forget it!! it suck the battery!
Excerpt: My wife and I had bought these phones less than a year ago, and it has been a rough road so far. While the speed of the phone is not too bad considering the generation of phone this came from, it is really hard being around newer phones that have features such as multi-touch and faster processors. All this aside, the major complaint I have is that my phone already will not charge. I've tried everything and I can't get it to work. I have to charge my battery in my...
Excerpt: For what you spent, you would be better off getting another smart phone, such as the Evos 4G, or the relatively new Motorola Atrix. While the Samsung Moment did initially offer promising features when coupled with an unlimited data plan, over time, I have realized the phone is incredibly slow to boot (roughly 30-45 seconds of staring at a glowing Samsung logo), slow to load after the boot (may take up to minutes to fully load all the applications), has slow internet...
Summary: Many have said this over various postings on different sites. If you are starting off with an Android for the first time, this is not a bad phone to start off with. However, personal experience had me very frustrated within a couple months of use. Tactile feedback slowed/lagged, connections began to dwindle, and battery life drained severely when making a simple call; so much so that when fully charged, the phone would die after 10 mins of conversation.
Pros: Built-in speakers
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Too big, Did not meet expectations
Summary: Not happy I got this phone, it wasn't the worse but I could have done WAYYYY better. I bought it because it seemed to be a GREAT phone for a low cost, that was a bad idea. Don't waste time on cheapness in phones, spend more money on a better product, I got rid of this phone in less than a year, glad it's gone.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, slide out keyboard
Cons: Too big, Did not meet expectations, heavy, easly scrathes/dents, glitchy, dies fast even when all things are turned off, no new android update
Summary: I was completely frustrated with this phone. It has very slow performance to the point of locking up for 2 hours or more. I'm not sure if it was hardware or software, but the GPS was shotty at best. The qwerty keyboard and the display are really the only good things about it. I would not recommend this phone to anyone.
