Summary: We purchased this phn thinking it would be a good alternative to the bulky sliders we have, but within minutes of receiving them we realized they would not work for us but decided to give them a try anyway. The key pad is so small that the tip of my smallest finger covers 4 keys and texting is a nightmare, not only that the user interface is so confusing my wife wanted to throw the thing out the window as we were driving down the road.
Summary: The cellphone's sound quality is great the loud speaker works good too. The problems start with text messaging this phone does not display/store texts as threads of conversation. There is an inbox and an outbox folder and all the texts you send are intertwined and not segregated.
"not such a great phone i loved it for about a week"

Pros: well its hard to say something good about it but here it goes it looks cool full keyboard email and im its invincible
Cons: this may take a while but..... its keyboard is small no blue tooth camera is terrible no video bad screen scratches easily back constantly breaks off short battery life it wont accept some messages or send some it freezes
Summary: Simple phone. If you just need a phone for calling it will work but if you want to take pics, assign ringtones, pic id, or save anything you might look into another phone because you can do none of these with the Samsung Magnet.
Pros: Battery life: ~5 days under normal usage Screen size is good Camera works for my minimal needs Offers some customization
Cons: KB is a little small. Could not get BT to work on Ubuntu or Vista for file sharing. Had to put some tissue around battery to get better connection. No microSD slot Proprietary charger/headset connector (Why do this Samsung?)
Summary: Loved that it is very light weight. Internet connection was good. Photo quality is terrible. The worst feature is that the keys are so small and so close together, it is very difficult for texting. There are also only about 6 ringtones from which to choose, and they're all awful. I would not buy again, and I am not currently using it - I broke down and bought another phone.
Summary: If this was a beauty contest this phone would win hands down. Other than that what phone lacks is MP3 capability. Hardly any internal memory does not allow and pictures to be transferred from the desktop to the phone and other than buying audio from your provider your only option is to hold the phone and record audio. If you want a phone to talk on and text this is adequate anything more you will need an upgrade.
