Summary: The Samsung Pixon is a good camera phone but I needed something more than that. I needed a phone that was more like a droid. The touch screen wasn't as responsive as I would like. The camera was very good though. I believe the email feature worked good too and the browser. Its a good smart phone.
Excerpt: one of the major drawback of the phone is that it does not have the sytlus which is inbuilt or attachable to the main phone body, rather it needs to ne hanged separately with the phone, which makes it much less usable and difficult to handle while on move. Other drawback is that of browsing contacts using alphabets. It only supports to search the contacts by drag down button for first alphabet, thereafter you will have to scroll down for the desired contact.
Summary: I have had this phone for nearly 2 years and it has to be the worst phone i have ever had. I had, had it around half a year and it started freezing ALOT and then started switching itself off repeatedly. It also has deleted all my contacts twice, and now having had it for a year and a bit it has started sending and recieving messages around half an hour later.

Summary: Now usually I go for phones with i keypad but this time i decided to go for the samsung M8800 Pixon.... Ive found it has a good battery life unlike some of the other phones i have had in the past, I can browse on the internet for ages and battery life is still good although when viewing videos or playing music it doesnt seem to last as long but that i find is to be expected with most of the newer phones available as they do alot more these days than simply text / call...
Pros: easier to hear when people are ringing you, good battery life
Cons: not good for people with big fingers, sometimes really slow , phonebook is annoying to use

Summary: i originally bought this phone on a contract deal as i was really attracted by the very impressive camera incorporated within it (8 megapixels) Im not the keenest of photographers, but the picture quality provided by the camera was amazing, especially on nights out and for action shots. with 8 megapixels it was a good as cameras you could by for hundreds of pounds! The build quality of this phone is also very immpresive.
Pros: Stunning camera quality, durable
Cons: slow responsive touchscreen and internet connection
Excerpt: "I bought this phone on a contract about a year ago, At the time I was looking for a touch screen phone and this was the choice of 5 on my contract, I opted for this one as I liked the look of it and I thought the camera would be a great feature, but too my dismay, the camera has awful quality, it may just be my phone but the pictures are pixelated and are horrible, I didn't expect this, I ended up not using the camera which I was kind of disappointed ...
Samsung GT M8800 Pixon: very slow, freezes, unreliable!

Summary: I purchased this phone on a 24 month contract last October and am seriously starting to regret it! When I received the phone, I was very happy with the size (I need a big phone or I would lose it) and the features. At 8mp the camera is brilliant and I have found my self taking more photos than I would before owning the phone. Also, the phone's music player plays very loud on speaker, compared to the phone I have previously.
Pros: very good camera!
Cons: touchscreen freezing and calibration problems
Conclusion: My fisrt touch screen mobile which at first i loved. Liked the browser once i'd worked it out.Camera brilliant. However. Screen a nightmare in daylight you just can't see it. Keypad so sensitive. trying to view photos can be tricky it keeps scrolling through. It's very time consuming. Not enough text when sending messages. Now my screen is frozen i'm not happy. Will take it in tomorrow and hope it gets resolved. All in all very frustrating phone.
