Not good as a phone, but works well as a GPS logger!
Summary: The Samsung Intercept was my first smartphone. It has such a small amount of RAM that even the most basic of operations takes forever. Often, when receiving a call, the phone would ring but not respond to my attempts to answer the call. Finally, the phone would spontaneously reboot. I'd end up calling the person back 5-10 minutes later. Do NOT consider this device for use as your main phone! This was Virgin Mobile's first Android phone.
Pros: Well, it's a smartphone. It's at least better than a flip phone. Pull-out keyboard is great for texting
Cons: Super slow-- up to 5 minutes to start up, takes very long time to load apps Never does what is supposed to Horrible battery life No space, most apps can't go on SD card Overheats Tiny Screen Crashes all the time Can't find WiFi
Summary: Worst phone I've ever had. Constantly freezes, slow processor makes apps sluggish, a lot of bloat programs (not removable), and the updates made it worse. I seriously would not trust this phone in an emergency. Not reliable at all. I'm surprised Sprint would even support this phone anymore.
Phone is junk has many issues that were never resolved.

Summary: Purchased one of these and was told it was good by Radio Shack. First phone froze on the update. Barely had phone a month. It downloaded the new firmware. Had phone plugged into power and it locked up mid update. Would not boot. Found out The download it made went corrupt bricking the phone. The second phone few months in started to get real slow. 4th moth in with this phone. Constant freezing. Had to yank battery constantly.
Pros: The pink phone is cute and has a pretty flower design on the back, it's good if you like talking on the phone and the GPS worked pretty well (when it actually worked). There are no other pros.
Cons: Very slow, freezes all the time, the battery life isn't that long, it will kick you offline constantly, if you get a phone call while you are online, you will get booted offline, even if you reject the call, and the phone has almost no memory.
Pros: Not one pro I can think of. If there were any pro's they are outweighed ten fold bythe cons. My sons Little Tikes phone has a better chance of making a phone call
Cons: Just about everything is wrong with this phone, i am so glad i picked this phone up on Black Friday for $40.00. Battery life is terrible i'm lucky to get a full day on a charge. Touch screen lags big time. Crappy call quality.
Excerpt: Both my mom & I purchased the Samsung intercept & both of us hated this phone. We ended up begging Sprint & paying a $50.00 fee for each phone to get rid of them before our contract was up. It became impossible to make or receive phone calls. Not a good thing, especially in an energency. These phones were replaced numerous times during the time that we owned it & all were terrible. This was our first smart phone & I can't say I would purchase another Samsung smart phone.
Excerpt: I ordered this phone on-line for upgrade and the final cost was to be $50 after rebate. First the instruction manual was very poor and did not explain how to use all functions or the instructions just did not work. For example, there were no instructions as to how to get to list of text message strings when looking at a particular string.
