Excerpt: I was on Verizon until my parents decided to change to Sprint. I decided to go with the cool, sleek, touchtone phone that everyone wants. I originally wanted the LG Dare from Verizon. Honestly, I wish we had stayed on Verizon so I could get that phone. The Instinct was meant to be a simple, touchtone phone. Keyword - SIMPLE. I was used to camera options, texting options, and more little specs here and there. But when they said simple, they meant it. Big time.
Excerpt: So I switched to this phone from a Blackberry, the model isn't so important to know so much as I really am not fond of the roller ball that is synonimous with the blackberrys. The Instinct has a great camera, touch screen, and a lot of other little features that caught my eye, initially. I am in need of my phone for business issues quite frequently. I need the full range of capability for email, web surfing, texting and such.
The Samsung Instinct has a little bit of everything for everyone

Excerpt: I got this Samsung Instinct almost a year ago when our family decided to switch to Sprint. A few of the features that I really wanted to have on a new phone were touch screen, Qwerty keyboard, good camera, easy email and web access, and easy texting. This phone had all fo those things so I purchased it. For the most part I have been happy with this phone, I like it's touch screen, and the camera function.
Excerpt: Sprint Instinct is a desirable phone with flaws. I purchased this product when it first came out. Their ads were cool and enticing. As anyone buying a new product, I was excited and happy with the purchase until things started to go wrong and the more I use the phone, the more I found limitations.
Samsung Instinct ok but not amazing. Could be better

Excerpt: I purchased the Instince because I wanted something close to the iPhone but of course Sprint doesn't offer the iPhone. It's ridiculous that carriers restrict you to only their products because in the UK you can purchase any equipment you want and then take it to the carrier you want and hook it up. I really wanted the new Google Android but of course Sprint won't have that for a while either. So I settled on this one.
Excerpt: My husband and I were thrilled when the first Instinct came out and couldn't wait to purchase it. We went from simple flip phones to this sleek touch screen phone. At first, we were thrilled with our purchase. However, that changed as time when on. My screen had to be replaced as it was no longer responding after a year or so. Then a few months later, the same thing happened to my husband. When we first got the phones, the battery life was great.
Excerpt: The Samsung Instinct- M800 is a great touch screen phone. Being that is new there are a lot of bugs with the phone. I have had to have my phone changed 3 times in 6 months. All of the phones were free to exchange because the problems were not caused by me ( Sprint customer service is getting better also). My first Instinct would not receive calls or even register that I missed a call. So the only way I knew someone called was if they left a message.
Excerpt: I've had this phone for almost two years, and it is still working. That's a good sign considering most cell phones are programmed to break after two years- right? The phone has some cool features like the voice command and GPS. I have used the GPS a lot and it is accurate. The touch screen and menu is displayed well. It is easy to customize and have your frequently used buttons on the home page.
The Samsung Instinct is a solid if lackluster smart phone

Excerpt: The Samsung Instinct is the middle of the road smart phone in Sprints line up. It is for people not wanting to spend 200$ or more on the newest HTC 4G models but still want a solid smart phone. The andriod OS works well enough for web surfing and has plently of apps for all users. The GPS is solid and easy to use, but slow to load and burns through the battery fast. The camera is easy to use, but not the best picture and has no flash.
Excerpt: We got our instinct about 2 years ago and it has lasted us the longest. It's not just started to mess up. If you want a touch screen phone with minimal aplications (call/text) and don't want to over pay with an iPhone, I'd suggest this one! The writing tool is easy to use and the sound is excellent. The buttons get a little annoying (slide to end call) and the camera button did pop off. I am pleased with all that it offers.
