Summary: Both my husband and I ordered 2 Samsung sch i910. He can't quite playing it with it. we like the instant beaming info back and forth between phones, the items are end less and we are still learning. For any one into the computer this is a small computer in your hand not just a phone.
Summary: I bought the CDMA phone samsung omnia i910 one month ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 5M-pixel camera (good quality), WIFI, Bluetooth, big memory capacity inside (8 GB), Windows Mobile OS.
Summary: I bought an Omnia i910 several months ago and overall I really like this phone. I'm using it with PagePlus with no problems. Call quality is excellent and I'm amazed at what this phone can do--there are hundreds of free Windows Mobile apps available. The phone does have a few quirks, which can be overcome with a little tinkering.
Summary: Fast little device, had the SCH I730 before and although I like the 730 the 910 is so much better. They can be had from auctions at great prices and since they are a Verizon phone they can be used on the Pageplus pay as you go service. The Wifi works alot better than the 730, the 730 has limitations to older hardware and standards. Opera Mobile works great on this phone, probably the best mobile browser for it, I hope Firefox gets a working mobile browser for WM.
Summary: I got this phone in hopes it would work as a phone, camera, and mp3 player. Pros: Display, camera, overall features, build quality, widgets/applications, customizability, firmware update, memory, sound quality Cons:Software a little slow before update, landscape keyboard, voicemail alerts, fingerprint magnet Buying this phone at a price ~$300 you should look into updating the firmware. The performance capabilities are amazing with new firmware.
Summary: "A good phone and fantastic with pictures and video capture, also great disply of web pages on the internet, is a bit unresponsive some times with the touch screen but have found this to be down to grease of my fingers on the screen, need to wipe clean now and again. only dissapointment is that there is still no accessories from samsung.
Summary: Pros:beautiful body, gives me weather updates on my home screen, very nice camera, opera web browser, 8 gigs standard memorey plus memorey card support, lets me get 3rd party apps, ex:google maps, has every feature you can think of on a phone. Cons: touch screen is precise but requires a firmer press than some others, no 3.5mm headset jack, windows mobile interface slightly boring (which is why i have this program on it called mobile shell which makes it lots more...
Summary: Alot of people complaing about the smaller screen on this phone and how it's not finger friendly, which i completely agree with out of the box. However with a good ROM (if you dont know what that is, just look into it) this phone really shines, It's smaller form factor make it more pocket friendly, and packs all of the features that alot of the pocket fillers have. Battery life is avearge i would say for the size of the phone.
Summary: This was the most affordable upgrade for me, not eligible for the contract upgrade date. Compared to the Droid or Iphone it may seem slower but I just wanted to access web, Facebook, online banking, Google, ebay...It performs well at all these. Awesome camera at 5.0 and nice big screen. Cons: Texting on screen keyboard takes some getting use to if you like an actual pull out keyboard. Battery gets sucked down after a full 12-15 hour work day.
Summary: The Samsung Omnia has a strong on-line following due to the great availability of software available for the phone. Knowing others who have this phone, I knew the level of customization that I could do to it. I have been able to modify the phone, via software, to exactly match my needs. There are newer phone with stronger hardware feature sets, but few allow for the flexibility to customize quite like the Samsung Omnia.
