Samsung i8910HD Review: In Depth

Recombu
20 April 2010
  • Excerpt: This is a big phone with big features. The Samsung i8910HD has a 3.7-inch screen (wider than the iPhone!), which looks great, plus neat, sleek styling, every function you could hope for and an 8-megapixel camera, slick touchscreen, 8GB storage and GPS. But the standout feature is video recording - in full 720p HD quality. What we like Samsung's latest flagship phones use AMOLED screen technology. Organic LED is bright, pin-sharp and rich.

John's Samsung Omnia HD i8910 review

phonedog.com
6 April 2010
  • Summary: I find myself complaining about many of the same things across multiple Symbian reviews and articles. I don't mean to nit pick or harp on them. I just find that the same hurdles continue to inhibit my use of Symbian phones, and I think they buyer should beware. Especially when you're looking to spend upwards of over seven bills. Nevertheless, this phone looks hot, and if you are big on talking and shooting, it will definitly satisfy.

Review: A day with the Samsung Omnia HD - Hardware and First Impressions

All About Symbian
1 March 2010
  • Summary: Rafe Blandford and I were invited to spend a day with the new Samsung Omnia HD, powered by Symbian OS 9.4 and S60 5th Edition (the previous Omnia had been much lower spec and Windows Mobile-powered). Away from trade show crowds and noise, we were able to really explore the Omnia HD in text, photos and video, so watch for this content over the next few weeks. In this feature I look at the device itself, its form factor and obvious interface characteristics.

Review: Review: Samsung i8910 HD

All About Symbian
1 March 2010
  • Summary: It has been a long, long, rocky path, but the i8910 HD has finally made it to mass market - well, in some countries and for some networks, at least. And armed with II1 firmware, it's high time for me to wrap up this top-end Symbian flagship. Just how good is it and what is its Achilles heel, if any?

Samsung Omnia HD i8910

Tech2
20 February 2010
  • Excerpt: The i8910 popularly know as the Omnia HD is Samsung’s second handset from the same series to grace our shelves. The previous model, the i900 Omnia, didn’t fare too well in our tests when it released in September of last year. How did the upgrade do? Take a look for yourself. Form Factor First off, the Omnia HD is way sexier than the i900 especially with its large 3.7-inch AMOLED display and slim lines. Black and silver is always a great combo.

Samsung i8910 Omnia HD Review: the smartest feature phone around

mobilementalism.com
21 January 2010
  • Conclusion: The Samsung i8910 is a superb phone that blends the best of the feature phone with the touchscreen slickness of the smartphone, with no compromise between the two. Whereas most smartphones offer you a slick interface with weak features (such as the 3 megapixel camera of the iPhone 3G S), while most feature phones do the exact opposite, the Omnia HD gives you the best of both worlds – a slick touchscreen user interface, powerful processor, glorious display and the best...

  • Conclusion: The Omnia 2 will be with us soon. It’s a Windows Mobile device with a heavy Samsung interface over the top of version 6.1. If I were you I would definitely wait for this device before making any decision.
